Crawshaw Academy Redefining the future for people and places e-Bulletin Issue 28: 1st May 2015 Headline…... Monitoring Inspection 3: 17th and 18th March 2015. - Ofsted confirms the Academy is still on track to see the removal of Special Measures. For this monitoring visit, two inspectors spent a couple of days observing teaching, interviewing groups of staff, students and governors and looking through data and paperwork. This was a really helpful process identifying the areas that continue to improve and the areas that now need to be further developed. Many of these suggestions have already been implemented and will be evident on the website. Please visit the school website to read the full report. Once again our students really impressed the inspectors with their behaviour and attitudes. They continue to be our greatest asset! Can I take this opportunity to thank you for all your support. Together we are far stronger as we look to provide an education for our young people that sets them up for future success. I wish you all a pleasant bank holiday weekend and the best of luck to our year 11’s who sit their first GCSE English exam on Tuesday. (To Year 11— make sure you get some rest, think about what you have been taught and believe in yourselves. You can do it!)
