2009-2010 Interim Director, Interdisciplinary Program in Social Determinants of Health. This is a new UVic graduate student program. I am responsible for its start up in January 2010. This will represent about 25% of my time.

2001 to 2008 Director, Centre for Youth and Society: This Centre received official status as a centre from the University Senate in the spring of 2001. This was the culmination of several years of work to establish the Centre and I continue to play a Central role in writing grants to support the Centre and conducting the work of the Centre. This activity takes about 15% of my time. The Centre involves about 10 other Faculty and is active in research and community knowledge transfer projects.
