PRODUCT DESCRIPTION APPLICATION DieMaxx 4450 HTS is a premium semi-synthetic die release agent. It has excellent high temperature adhesion for high temperature mold applications. It is formulated for the aluminum die caster with large complex molds. DieMaxx 4450 HTS forms a micro-stable emulsion in both hard and soft water. DieMaxx 4450 HTS can easily be used in fully automatic spray systems or hand-held units with excellent coverage. DieMaxx 4450 HTS is highly concentrated and can be diluted from 70:1 to 140:1.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION APPLICATION Lubricast 898-NS is a high performance non-silicone die release agent. It is formulated for the aluminum and zinc die caster with complex or detailed molds. Lubricast 898-NS is extremely resistant to rancidity and can be diluted up to 20:1 to 100:1 with water. This new Chemtool technology has had an extremely successful history of producing high volume castings weighing over 50 pounds.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION APPLICATION Lubricast 902 is Chemtool Incorporated’s premium water glycol fire resistant hydraulic fluid formulated specifically for end users who require a phenol response level of less than 100 parts per billion (PPB). Lubricast 902 raw materials have been carefully selected to provide a phenol response level of 60 PPB maximum while maintaining excellent lubricity, shear stability, rust protection and corrosion resistance. Lubricast 902 is factory mutual approved. Lubricast 902 is designed for use in high pressure applications where fire resistance, conformance to local waste treatment regulations and good pump life are required. Lubricast 902 is especially well suited for die casters, foundries, steel mills and mines.

PRODUCT APPLICATION / USAGE To keep Lubricast 902 operating at maximum performance levels, periodic monitoring should be conducted. Percent water level and alkalinity should be routinely checked to eliminate problems with fire resistance, viscosity variations or rust. Water content can be determined with the use of a refractometer or the Karl Fisher titration procedure. Alkalinity testing should be determined by titration. All testing can be performed as part of our service maintenance program. See Tables 1 and 2 for recommendations on water and morpholine additions.
