Volunteer facilitators help for Adults — pg. 3 run the book discussions by assisting book club members in understanding and discussing the books they are reading in creative and fun ways. There are even game nights where members bring their favorite board or card games to share and play with the group, and movie nights where participants watch movies based on some of the books they have read together. The Next Chapter Book Club is an exceptional program that helps underserved community members experience the joy that books and reading can bring to their lives. Participants improve their literacy skills and become more confident. Members gain knowledge that will help them find a job and become more independent.
