FURTHER NOTICE

THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF (ALL ROADS WITHIN MILTON KEYNES – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2021

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in relation to a temporary prohibition of vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along parts of roads within Milton Keynes whilst essential inspections, maintenance and repair works are carried out to the carriageway. The restrictions were brought into effect under the provisions of the above-named Order, which was made by the Council of the on 10th March 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as first notified on 5th March 2020.

TAKE NOTICE that works are for Defects works, it is necessary to introduce a road closure in order for the works to be carried out.

The following lengths of road will be closed on the following Dates and Times:

19th April 2021 • Stratford Road, (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Grafton Street, Millers Way, Grreat Monks Street (and vice versa)

• Chaffron Way V4 to V6 (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Grafton Street, Standing Way and (and vice versa)

• Stacey Bushes Roundabout (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Great Monks Street, Millers Way, Grafton Street (and vice versa)

20th April 2021 • Tavistock Street, (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Western Road, North Street (and vice versa)

• Wordsworth Avenue, (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Westbury Lane, Wolverton Road, Little Linford Lane (and vice versa)

• Newport Road, (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Cranfield Road, Broughton Road, Fen Street, Childs Way (and vice versa)

• Avebury Boulevard, (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Grafton Street, Childs Way, Elder gate (and vice versa)

• Filgrave to A509, Filgrave (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

• Church Street, New Bradwell (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Newport Road, Glyn Street, High Street (and vice versa)

• Bradbourne Drive, Tilbrook (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Sherbourne Drive, Brickhill Street, Bletcham Way (and vice versa)

23rd April 2021 • Brook End, (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is North Crawley Road, Road, Chicheley Hill, Chicheley Road (and vice versa)

• Golden Drive, Eaglestone (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Harrier Drive (and vice versa)

• Theydon Avenue, (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is A5130, The Leys (and vice versa)

• Stanton Gate, (Between 9:30am and 12:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Marlborough Street, Great Ground, Crosslands (and vice versa)

• Spencer, Stantonbury (Between 12:30pm and 4:30pm)

Whilst the following length of road is closed the alternative route is Marlborough Street, Ashfield (and vice versa)

The above roads are scheduled to be closed only when maintenance or repair works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.

Access to affected properties will be granted where possible. All other provisions of the Order remain as previously notified on 5th March 2020.
