REVISED NOTICE FOR FYBA ADMISSIONS 2021-2022

Note: FYBA admissions for the year 2021-2022 will be conducted from 23rd August 2021 onwards. (Please see earlier notice that is attached for your reference)

Admission to First Year B.A. (2021-22) On-line Admission Process

 The admission process will start from 9/8/2021.  Admission forms will be available on the college website https://garwarecollege.mespune.in or https://agc.vriddhionline.com  Arts faculty students should not fill the merit forms.  All further notices regarding admissions will be displayed on college website

Admission Process-  All interested students should fill the admission form  In the first round approval will be given to students who have secured more than 75% marks for General category and 65% marks for reserved category  If seats are available, the Second round approval will be given to students who have secured more than 65% marks for General category and 55% marks for reserved category  If seats are available, the Third round approval will be given to students who have secured more than 55% marks for General category and 45% marks for reserved category  In the fourth round admissions will be open to all depending upon availability of seats.  Approval will be given only to the completely filled forms after 18/08/2021.  The student will first receive document approval message  If all documents are complete only then subject approval message will be sent  After document and subject approval messages are received by the student, fee approval message will be sent  The student has to pay fee through online mode after the fee approval message  Admission process will be completed only after payment of fees and submission of original documents.

Form Filling Process-  Admission form has 2 sections -a] Grant and b] NGU (Non-grant Unit).  Grant unit of College offers courses in Marathi medium only.  Non Grant Unit offers courses in both English and Marathi medium.  Students MUST click the appropriate tab and fill the form.  Students must give their active and correct mobile number and email ID. College will correspond with students only on the given mobile number and email ID till the completion of graduation.  Students must check their mobile message inbox and email ID regularly for updates.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BE FOLLOWED: 1. Students should create new login credentials i.e. username (mail id) and password using Vriddhi online form (Students should save these credentials as they will need these same credentials for second and third year admission also). 2. Students should fill the complete form and upload the documents in .jpg format as mentioned in the on-line form. 3. Considering the pandemic situation students can submit hard copy of original School / College Leaving Certificate later on, along with any other document(s), as required by the college administration for the purpose of “eligibility”. 4. Incomplete form will not be accepted. The documents will be checked on-line by the admission committee. 5. After the verification of the documents admission committee will approve the form. 6. Student will be given admission only if ORIGINAL documents have been uploaded. 7. The student will receive message about the fee to be paid for the academic year 2021-22. This includes the journal fee and regular fees. Student should pay full fees through on-line payment gateway on the dates given to confirm the admission. 8. Fee structure will be different for students of Domicile Maharashtra, Indian students from outside Maharashtra, and students from SAARC countries, students paying full fees as well as concession holders.

1. Students availing Free-ship / Scholarship (SC/ST/NT/OBC/SBC/Rajarshi Shahu Chhatrapati Scholarship) / Concession in fees (EBC/STC/PTC/Ex-serviceman) have to pay fees accordingly. To avail EBC concession, Income Certificate issued by TAHASILDAR is required. 2. Students who shall apply for Non Grant division should select paying category only except SC/ST category. 3. All the admissions will be given according to reservation rules and regulations of Government of Maharashtra and Savitribai Phule Pune University. 4. Special subject is available at S.Y.B.A. as per Merit and availability of seats. 5. Students who want to graduate with English Special have to select Optional English in FYBA itself.

* If sufficient number of students is not available for the subject, another subject will be allotted as per Government circular. *There are limited numbers of seats for each subject. The admission will be stopped as soon as all the seats get filled. *WHILE FILLING THE FORM STUDENT SHOULD ENSURE INTERNET CONNECTIVITY. *SUBMISSION OF ONLINE FORM DOES NOT SECURE ADMISSION
