8:30am – 9:00pm: Kamin Gallery, 1 st Floor, Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center. Experience Penn Libraries provocative exhibition: Werner-Pfeiffer (censor, villain, provocateur, experimenter): Book objects & Artist Books. Werner Pfeiffer, a sculptor, printmaker, and painter renowned for his insightful and moving book-objects and artist books, masterfully constructed and beautifully printed, is collected by private and institutional collectors around the world. Refreshments from 2-4 pm. The first 10 student visitors will receive a free copy of the exhibition catalogue.

9 am - 5 pm. Bob and Penny Fox Art Gallery. Trauma, Trash, and Triumph: Images from the Health of Photo-documentation Project. Photographs as tools for probing street- level etiologies "Is Philadelphia a healthy place to live? Is Philadelphia a Locus of Ill Health?" Reception 3-5 pm with Sponsor Center for Public Health Initiatives at Penn.

9 am - 5 pm. Williams Cafe. Allison Zuckerman, a Sophomore Fine Arts major, showcases select paintings.

10 am to 3 pm: McClelland Hall - Past Winners from the College House Student Film Festival - Check out this series of great student made films. Learn how you can submit your film to the CHSFF where you can see your movie on the big screen at the Bridge movie theater and win $500. NOTE This event open to Penn ID's only due to the College House Location.

10 am -5 pm: Addams Gallery Addams Gallery - First Year MFA Exhibition.

10 am – 5 pm: Kroiz Gallery of the Architectural Archives- Ben's House: Designing History at Franklin Court . Benjamin Franklin's life-long home on Orianna Street was lost in the 19th Century. The resulting solution is an imaginative reconstruction consisting of a "ghost" structure representing the original house, a garden, and underground museum spaces. Explore the making of Franklin Court through a selection of original sketches, models, and period photographs .

11 am -3 pm: - Visit the Morris Arboretum and spend the afternoon Out on a Limb! 12 pm - 6 pm: Terrace Room, Cohen Hall -The Arts Crawl Art-In sponsored by the Penn Art Club . The Art-In will allow members of the Penn community of all experience levels who love art to express themselves for as long as they want during these six hours. Participants will be able to make art in a medium they are most comfortable with or experiment with new ones. Supplies will range from charcoal and pastels to watercolors and acrylic paint. We invite you to stop by and create a piece for free!

12 pm-7 pm: University City Arts League - Special reception for a show of large scale works on paper by artists David Guinn and Jim Hinz. Guinn's work can be also seen in the neighborhood on a pair of walls on Baltimore Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets.

12 pm-8 pm Institute of Contemporary Art - Join the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) from noon until 8pm for their exciting line up of fall exhibitions. Among them, Dance with Camera, a group show of over thirty artists, spanning seventy years featuring film, video and photography. At 6:30pm author Steven Conn will discuss his new book, Do Museums Still Need Objects? Music generously provided by WQHS, Penn's student radio station. ICA is always free!

1 pm - 3 pm: . Join the Kelly Writers House and The New Philadelphia Poets for collaborative writing activities. No poetry experience is necessary! Come for a few minutes, or a few hours.

1:30 pm-3:30 pm: Discover the Arthur Ross Gallery and visit the exhibition Jacob Lawrence and the Urban Experience: Selected Prints 1963-2000. Lawrence is the most celebrated African American artist of the 20th century. Take a scavenger hunt tour on your cell phone. Join us for a 10-minute Curator's talk (at 1:30 pm, 2 pm 2:30 pm, 3 pm). FREE POSTERS to the first 100 visitors!

2 pm -5pm: Rodin College House -The residents of Rodin College House will be showcasing their artwork in Rodin's lobby gallery. This includes paintings, sculpture, poetry and music. Hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the event. NOTE This event open to Penn ID's only due to the College House Location.

2 pm-4 pm: Penn Museum - Enjoy belly dancing, music and Middle Eastern appetizers--and tour "Iraq's Ancient Past: Rediscovering Ur's Royal Cemetery," featuring world-renowned Mesopotamian treasures, 4,500 years old.

2 pm-8 pm: Artist in Residence Gallery Exhibit featuring work by 40th Street artists in residence: Vinson Houston, Cecilia Paredes, Joanna Quigley, Glen Sacks, Beth Uzwiak. Paintings, mobiles, photos, etc. Interactive art and performances after 6pm.

4 pm-6 pm: Graduate Student Center - Stop by for the opening reception of our exhibition of graduate student artwork based on the theme Arts & the City and a free Music Department jazz combo concert - featuring graduate students. Refreshments provided. 4-6pm: Penn Bookstore - Penn's United Minorities Council, Civic House, Penn Bookstore, and the Arts and Spirituality Center's Heartspeak program host a creative writing workshop and open-mic poetry slam (featuring African percussionists).

4 pm-6 pm: Christian Association House - See murals by Sam Maitin (C'51) at the Christian Association House. Music provided by Penn African Performing Arts. Refreshments served.

6 pm-7 pm: The Penn Bookstore - Poetry readings from Kelly Writers' House's Suppose An Eyes poetry group

7-9 pm. Meyerson Hall - MFA Benefit Auction. Bid on contemporary work by University of Pennsylvania MFA Candidates, Faculty, Alumni, and Supporters of PennDesign. Auction Preview: Thursday, November 19 th 10am – 5pm . All proceeds support PennDesign's 2010 MFA Thesis Exhibition.

8 pm: The Rotunda - In this installment of the popular GATE experimental series, witness sonic innovations as Bowerbird presents local and international musicians who span countless styles and inspirations.

8 pm: Dunlop Auditorium - Come to the Pennchants and Quaker Notes (a cappella) fall collaboration show for great music, good humor and an even better time! Half off prices for Penn students with Fall Arts Crawl maps! (limited availability)

8 pm: Bruce E. Montgomery Theater, Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts - THEATRE ARTS PROGRAM PRESENTS - OUR TOWN By Thornton Wilder Tired of a hard day's arts crawling? Come by, put your feet up, and sit a while with the folks in Grove's Corners, New Hampshire. Won't cost much, either. Tickets are $4.00 a $3 Savings.

8 pm: Harrison Auditorium (Penn Museum) - Come hear Penn's premier a cappella group Off The Beat rock out at its Fall Concert! Don't miss the hottest, happening, high energy show of the season. Limited half off tickets for Penn Student (with ID) if you present your arts crawl map.

8:30 pm: Platt Student Performing Arts House - UP ON STAGE is Penn's real open mic series. It offers a venue for students, faculty, and staff to put their talents on display.

9 pm (doors open at 8 pm): World Cafe Live Upstairs - Y-ROCK ON XPN WELCOMES THE SWIMMERS and GOLDSPOT with THE BLACK FORTYS Tickets $9 | $4 w/Penn Student ID.

9:30 PM: Finish up at Annenberg After Hours (Annenberg Center) for a FREE arts party! Eat food from your favorite local restaurants, try your luck at winning awesome prizes and get great deals on Annenberg Center tickets. Spend the night dancing or just hanging out while Pieris Music transforms the lobby into a happening club scene with its electronic string concertos, DJ interludes and hip video art projections. This event is part of the Penn Arts Crawl and is FREE to all students!
