Sport en beweging maakt gelukkig, verrijkt je vriendenkring en draagt bij aan je algemene gezondheid. Daarom willen wij zo veel mogelijk mensen in Vlaanderen en Brussel aanzetten tot regelmatig sporten en bewegen.
Ben je op zoek naar een G-sportaanbod? In elke provincie en in het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest is er een consulent Sporten zonder Drempels die het G-sportlandschap van de regio kent en je kan bijstaan in je zoektocht.
Wil je graag zelf op zoek naar een sportclub die een G-sportaanbod heeft? Dan kan deze brochure jou hiermee helpen. In deze brochure kan je opzoeken welke (G-)sporten je in jouw buurt kan uitoefenen. Om een aanbod op maat te kunnen vinden, maakten we een onderscheid tussen verschillende doelgroepen en duidden we aan op welke manier G-sport zich situeert in de club.
Naast het doelgroepspecifiek sportaanbod kan je ook een inclusief sportaanbod terugvinden. Want inclusie betekent dat sporters met en zonder beperking samen sporten.

Wil je een rolstoelsport uitproberen, maar heb je nog geen aangepaste sportrolstoel? Ook hiervoor kan je bij onze uitleendiensten terecht. Voor zes maanden lang kan je een sportrolstoel bij ons lenen, zodat je volop van de sport kan proeven.

In onze sportcentra, verspreid over heel Vlaanderen, kunnen individuele sporters, sportclubs, scholen, bedrijven en verenigingen terecht voor een sport- en beweegaanbod. In verschillende centra zijn er mogelijkheden voor G-sporters. Om het G-sportlandschap in Vlaanderen en Brussel te begeleiden en te ondersteunen, werken we nauw samen met twee organisaties.
PARANTEE-PSYLOS VZW
Parantee-Psylos vzw ondersteunt sportclubs en andere sportfederaties die zich op een competitieve of recreatieve manier richten naar mensen met een beperking of kwetsbaarheid. Ze begeleiden topsporters met een beperking op maat en verleggen grenzen door de uitbouw van een strategisch netwerk met professionals én vrijwilligers uit de sportsector en andere maatschappelijke actoren.
Op deze manier vormt Parantee-Psylos een hefboom om mensen volgens hun eigen behoeften, mogelijkheden en ambities op een gezonde en kwaliteitsvolle manier te laten sporten en bewegen.

G-SPORT VLAANDEREN
G-sport Vlaanderen is een vzw die een ondersteunende rol opneemt naar organisaties die betrokken zijn bij sport en beweging voor personen met een beperking. Ze werken projecten uit die bijdragen aan de mogelijkheden tot sporten en bewegen voor personen met een beperking. Ze werken drempels weg en sensibiliseren het brede publiek in functie van G-sport. Ook voor vragen rond specifiek G-sportmateriaal kan je hier terecht. Met hun campagne ‘Supporters voor G-sporters’ verzamelen ze financiële middelen voor aangepaste G-sportmaterialen voor G-sporters.
