December Prayer Theme: In God Alone

a·lone / ’le ōn/ adjective

1. having no one else present • having no help or participation from others • isolated and lonely

Do you ever feel alone? Lonely? Is it good? Bad? Sad? Freeing? Set Apart?

Are you feeling unloved? Do you forget to whom you belong? He is with you in your darkness. Your refuge is under his wings. He will not leave you or forsake you. You are never truly alone. He has plans for you: plans for your good, your salvation, and your joy.

a·lone / ’le ōn/ adverb

1. solely, exclusively

When we feel lonely or experience an emptiness in any part of our lives, the temptation is to look to earthly things or ways to fll it. But there is only one way to have those voids ultimately satisfed. Look to and fnd:

HOPE in God alone STRENGTH in God alone BELONGING in God alone

JOY in God alone SHELTER in God alone LIFE in God alone

He is the God who sees you, who cares about you, who is always with you. You are never truly alone. Know that and hold his promise close to your heart.

“And my God will provide every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God the Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Philippians 4:19-20 (ESV)
