Pantheon’s Legends in a Nutshell If you are not familiar with our pitch of the Game, in a few words Pantheon’s Legends was born 2 years ago from the passion of Jules and Manu Marquez for co-op games. Our desire is to renew the genre of co-op fast action with a touch of RPG fantasy. We also aim to build a community of players that will enjoy our game over time and several seasons and content. Here is the result of the first effort of the Limitless Games team, an effort post Prototype phase in Summer 2019. Team ramped up from 7 to 42 members (Sep 2019 - Dec 2019), the result of this build is an overall 3 months of production: Dec 2019, Jan 2020 and Feb 2020. In this first build, we create an experience for you to enjoy that will expose our gameplay with a strong aim for the fun of the co-ops experiences in a Boss level (Sun Golem Boss). This build takes you to the Boss level right away, but in the final version you will have to open four doors to reach the end of the Dungeon. At this time, the experience is best with 4 players. In the future we will allow bots players, but not a single player story mode. The level does not include a tutorial, this is why we will give you some hints to take you to a fun play as fast as possible. Last edited: 19/03/2020 Page 2 of 21 Pantheon’s Legends Preview GDC 2020: The Guide 2. Installing and getting the build from Steam You should have received at least 5 keys, 4 players, 1 server. You will find the build under your Steam account after entering the key we provided you. When launching the game from Steam, it will propose you to launch the game as server or client, we did this to make sure the performance is optimal. Optionally, you could also host the server on one of the game devices. We experienced no issue doing so, but we recommend using a dedicated server. If you cannot run the game on a local network please check our Guide How to Setup Hamachi at the end of this doc. This will let you play even with remote players. However, if you are short of server devices, it is totally possible to launch a server on the same machine. If this is the case, please use the following bat files directly from the Pantheon’s folder under the Steam common app folder as described below. You do not have to modify any parameters, but if you want to change your server name, please edit the following text inside the bat files: PTMaxNumPlayers=4 (you could lower to number of player if required to get 2,3 player session) PTSessionName=PantheonServerPlay (you could change the name of the server here in case you want to have several server sessions to play. @echo off cd ../ cd ./Packaged/WindowsNoEditor/pantheon/Binaries/Win64/"pantheonServer.exe" PAN_MF01T1_PersistentLevel?PTMaxNumPlayers=4?PTSessionName=PantheonServerPlay? THIS s ketch of a great man and his career has been framed entirely upon his own writings—his Conferences and others—the contemporary literature, and the two Memoirs of him published by his dearest friend the Comte de Montalembert, and by his disciple and companion Dominican, Père Chocarne. I have aimed only at producing as true and as vivid a portrait of Lacordaire as lay in my power, believing that at all times, and specially such times as the present, such a study must tend to strengthen the cause of Right, the cause of true Liberty, above all, of Religious Liberty.

  • The Idea of Equality in America Emma Rodman a Dissertation Submitted
The Idea of Equality in America Emma Rodman A dissertation submitted in partial fulfllment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy University of Washington 2020 Reading Committee: Jack Turner III, Chair George Lovell Michael McCann Rebecca Thorpe Program Authorized to Offer Degree: Political Science ©Copyright 2020 Emma Rodman ii University of Washington Abstract The Idea of Equality in America Emma Rodman Chair of the Supervisory Committee: Professor Jack Turner III Political Science In American political thought, it is commonly supposed we make political communities more democratic by making them more equal. In this dissertation, I show that this common supposition is a mistake: efforts to enact equality in America in fact frequently undermine democratic inclusion. In three case studies, I show that some registers of equality produce and naturalize hierarchy, and have a sabotaging relationship to democratic participation and inclusion. Invocations and enactments of equality in the eras of the Founding, the antebellum early republic, and post-Reconstruction all reveal a surprising disjoint between equality and democratic inclusion. Using archival sources, published primary sources, and original datasets of text materials, I offer a complex and historically grounded new framework for understanding the tension between democratic inclusion and the American idea of equality. To understand this seeming paradox requires appreciating both the polyvocality of the concept and the relationship between the different forms of equality. While I show that some important conceptions of equality in American political thought are themselves inegalitarian at core, it is more iii often the case that conceptions of equality compromise one another. As different valences of equality have gained prevalence at different moments in American history, seeking equality in one area – political, economic, or social equality, for instance – has not necessarily supported equality in other areas.
