With right around the corner, I thought I would dedicate this weekly mostly to all things Halloween in Fair Haven.

• MISCHIEF NIGHT o 30thhas many names – O’Hallows Eve, Goosey Night, Cabbage Night and Devil’s Night – but here in the NJ and the coastal Northeast it most commonly called Mischief Night o Curfew in Fair Haven this Friday, October 30this 6PM - sharp

• HALLOWEEN: o Saturday, October 31st– curfew is 8PM – sharp o Please review the guidelines from our Chief of Police regarding how to have a safe Halloween during Covid o For Trick or Treaters ▪ Stay within your immediate family ▪ Practice social distancing from other groups ▪ Wear a proper face mask (Halloween mask is not proper protection) o For Candy Givers ▪ Wear a face mask while giving out candy ▪ Candy should only be given out in factory sealed bags ▪ Do not allow trick or treaters to reach into candy bowl o Click HERE for more information from Chief McGovern

• VOLUNTEER DAYS FOR THE FAIR HAVEN FIELDS NATURAL AREA o 2 Days – Saturday, October 24th& Sunday, October 25th o Anytime from 9am - Noon o Participants please report to the west end of the meadow if possible by 8:45am o Gloves and Tools will be provided – just bring a smile and willingness to help
