“I scored my second win of the season!” Alex Lynn – GP2 Hockenheim preview London, July 27, 2016. After the tough time we’ve had lately in the GP2 Series, a good result was exactly what was needed to send us into the summer break in high spirits. It turned out even better than that at Hockenheim – I scored my second win of the season! The guys at DAMS have worked so hard, and as soon as I hit the track at Hockenheim I knew we were carrying on the progress from the previous weekend in Hungary. Right from the word go in free practice I had a good feeling with the car, and we were third fastest on merit, very close to the top. We were just carrying on the theme from Hungary in how we were changing the car, and I felt strong on long runs as well so that was good. Into qualifying I was positive and looking forward to seeing how the car would react, and it was a big improvement again. In the end I qualified fifth and that’s a shame, because traffic hampered us and I really believe I could have been on pole. I was really confident with the car and it was giving me a good feeling for the first time in quite a while. We went for the prime tyre at the start of the feature race, and I had an early battle with Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato. I’d jumped Ollie off the line when he got held up by Pierre Gasly’s bad start, but then I got boxed in at Turn 2 and Ollie got me.

MEDIA INFORMATION 2019/2020 FIA World Endurance Championship Round 3: 4 Hours of Shanghai Michelin’s endurance racing tyres contribute to entertaining 4 Hours of Shanghai Round 3 of the 2019/2020 FIA World Rally Championship was won by the N°1 Rebellion R13 of Bruno Senna/Gustavo Menezes/Norman Nato who started China’s round of the FIA WEC from pole position after topping Saturday’s qualifying on Michelin rubber. Second and third were the similarly Michelin-equipped N°8 and N°7 Toyota TS050 Hybrids in the hands of Mike Conway/Kamui Kobayashi/Jose María López and Sébastien Buemi/Kazuki Nakajima/Brendon Hartley respectively. In contrast, the French firm’s LMP2 partners were down on luck in Shanghai. The class’s pole-winning N°42 ORECA 07-Gibson of Cool Racing, Lapierre/Borga/Coigny was halted by Race Control after suffering an electronics problem, while the N°22 United Autosports car of Hanson/Albuquerque/Di Resta lost power after debris got blocked in the air intake of its engine, eliminating it from the scrap for victory. Despite an unscheduled pit stop to cure the problem on Lap 8, it still completed the distance in third place – just 21 seconds short of the winner – to showcase the potential of its Michelin rubber both in qualifying and on race day. The LMGTE Pro class was topped by the N°92 Porsche 911 RSR of Christensen/Estre, ahead of Bruni/Lietz’s N°91 sister car and Aston Martin Racing’s N°97 Vantage AMR (Lynn/Martin). The LM GTE Am order was topped by the N°90 TF Sport-run Aston Martin Vantage AMR of Eastwood/Yoluc/Adam, ahead of the N°57 Porsche 911 RSR (PROJECT 1, Keating/Ten Voorde/Bleekemolen) and the Aston Martin Racing-tended N°98 Vantage AMR (Dalla Lana/Turner/Gunn).

    — ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Season 7 Press Kit — At ABB, we have always taken a sustainable approach to business. Sustainability is a key part of our company Purpose and of the value that we create. This starts with helping our customers reduce their emissions and preserve resources, which is where we make the biggest impact, and extends to our own operations, to our partners and suppliers, and the communities we serve. Our partnership with Formula E brings together two great teams that are pushing the boundaries of technology to support the shift to e-mobility. The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is a showcase for the world’s most advanced e-mobility technologies. This partnership, now in its fourth season, allows us to use this competitive race environment as a testbed to further develop our technology, while demonstrating the benefits of e-mobility to a global audience. Ultimately, it is helping us to drive progress towards a more sustainable future. Björn Rosengren CEO ABB — Working with COVID-19 restrictions in Season 7 Plans for the Season 7 race calendar continue to evolve amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, while the health and safety of the entire Formula E community, as well as the residents of E-Prix host cities, are of the utmost priority. As it is almost inevitable that attendance at E-Prix will remain restricted, ABB is developing virtual experiences that will allow guests and key customers to enjoy much of the race weekend experience, even if they are unable to attend in person. In addition to a dedicated microsite filled with news and content from the event and a link to view the on-track action, ABB will provide a multi-media experience focusing on the series itself and the connected topics of sustainability, mobility and energy efficiency, featuring presentations and contributions in collaboration with ABB’s partners.

PRESS RELEASE Signes - Friday 15th January 2021 Stoffel Vandoorne joins MissionH24 and its racing team, H24Racing Belgian driver, Stoffel Vandoorne, is joining MissionH24. Alongside Frenchman Norman Nato he will contribute to the performance development programme of the H24Racing team’s electric-hydrogen-powered prototypes. Stoffel Vandoorne (left) et Norman Nato (right). MissionH24 has boosted its potential by taking on Stoffel Vandoorne from Belgium for the 2021 season. He joins up with Frenchman, Norman Nato, in the programme that is laying the ground work for the arrival of the electric-hydrogen category in the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thanks to this duo of very quick new-generation drivers, both of whom are confirmed single-seater and hybrid-powered or 100% electric top-level prototype aces, Mission24 will be able to accelerate its performance development and increase the pace of its private testing programme. The H24Racing team, which runs the MissionH24 prototypes in both testing and competition, expects a great deal from these two drivers who have already racked up brilliant results, and who are much appreciated by the engineers for the quality of their technical approach to setup work and development. Stoffel and Norman were rivals on their debut in single-seater racing (F4). They know each other very well and are great friends to the point that they train together on a regular basis in karts and share their physical fitness programme. They will be team-mates for the first time and in a few weeks they will kick off MissionH24’s private 2021 test programme by giving the new H24 its first shakedown.
