The Wainwright Golf Club hosted its Senior Open on Sunday, July 21. It was a hot and sunny day on the golf course for the 27 men and 14 women who competed in this year’s event.

On the men’s side, Dave Arthurs from Wainwright took first place with a 77, Ron Emter from Wainwright took second place with a 79 and Barry Field from Irma finished in third place with an 80 on the day.

On the women’s side, Lorraine Polishuk from Minburn shot a 95 to take the top spot, Sharon Romanow from Wainwright finished in second with a 99 and Donna Hollar from Irma took third place with a 101.
