Parliament has recently passed new legislation on federal elections. You are eligible to vote if you are a Canadian citizen at least 18 years of age. o How is enumeration done? Throughout the province of Quebec, teams of federal enumerators will visit each home to take the names of eligible voters for the federal voters list. After taking the names of the voters in your home, enumerators will leave an Elector Illfonnatioll Card for each voter. This procedure is different from previous elections, when these cards were sent by mail. The Elector Illfornlatioll Card contains essential information on voting, such as the address of your polling station, and the dates and place for the advance poll. It is a good idea to bring the card with you when you go to vote. If the enumerators do not find you at home the first time, they will return. If they cannot reach anyone on their second visit, they will leave a Mnil III Registratiol1 Card.
