Other things to bear in mind…

Businesses should anticipate an increase in trade over the course of the Tour weekend, especially catering outlets or hospitality providers located near to the route.

Road closures will also inevitably affect deliveries to areas close to the route over the weekend and so with this in mind we recommend you plan in advance and stock up to meet demand.

If you’re thinking of entertaining any business guests for the Tour, it’s worth bearing in mind that their travel may also be affected. Book hotels as soon as possible, think about viewing points and accessibility.

More details around related hospitality packages specifically for Sheffield businesses are in the process of being finalised and will be announced in 2014. Details will be available on www.welcometosheffield.co.uk/TDF2014

And finally…

If you think you’ve identified an opportunity for local businesses to work collaboratively and collectively to benefit from the Tour, there’s probably somebody else with a similar thought. Let us know what you’re thinking and we’ll help put you in contact with the right people.
