TOCUMEN INTERNACIONAL AIRPORT EXPANDS TO 54 CONTACT DOORS, TOGETHER WITH 12 NEW REMOTE POSITIONS

The Tocumen International Airport, is considered the Hub of the Americas and currently operates 34 boarding gates with an average of 400 flights per day, 82 destinations in over 35 countries in America, Europe and soon Asia. The opening of Terminal 2, will add 20 gates and 8 remote positions, for a total of 54 aircraft contact positions and 12 remote positions between both terminals

This imposing structure, with great architectural value, has a construction progress of 83 %. It is expected that, once operations begin, the capacity will be increased to serve 9 million passengers, added to the 15.6 million at the end of 2017, consequently serving 24 million passengers at all.
