GOVERNOR JOHN HICKENLOOPER FIRST LADY ROBIN HICKENLOOPER ISAAC & ANNA SLADE

CORDIALLY INVITE YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE Take Note Music Producers Circle

AND CREATE A LEGACY OF MUSIC FOR COLORADO’S STUDENTS Dear Fellow Music Lover,

As we celebrate the first anniversary of our statewide music initiative, Take Note Colorado, we invite you to JOIN US IN GIVING THE GIFT OF MUSIC TO COLORADO’S STUDENTS. Be part of our legacy in providing access to musical instruments and instruction to K-12 students by becoming a founding member of the Take Note Music Producers Circle.

Music has had a profound impact in both of our lives. Yet, not all of Colorado’s students have access to instruments and instruction. In fact, approximately 150 Colorado schools offer no music education opportunities for their students at all.

Take Note Colorado has determined that we can increase access to instruments and instruction to an entire school for roughly $7,500. YOUR GENEROUS GIFT OF $7,500 OR MORE AS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE TAKE NOTE MUSIC PRODUCERS CIRCLE WILL ENSURE THAT WE ARE ON THE WAY TO ACHIEVING OUR GOAL TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO COLORADO’S 1 MILLION STUDENTS.

Learning and playing music has so many positive effects on students – in their academic learning, brain development, self-expression and so much more. MUSIC IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE THAT CONNECTS PEOPLE, COMMUNITIES, STATES AND NATIONS.

As you contemplate an investment in music for kids through Take Note Colorado, we encourage you to reach out so we can share more of what we’ve learned and accomplished this pilot year. It’s been really exciting to unite with music students, educators, artists and communities around the power of music!

Thank you in advance and hope to see you at our celebratory event on Friday, August 17th at Red Rocks (details to the right)
