Two territories of similar extension and with historical coincidences in their development have been selected: the Okanagan Valley, Canada, and the region of Somontano, Spain. Methodologically, an analysis of the content on Twitter has been performed, collecting 1377 tweets. The conclusion is that wineries create sentimental and experiential links with the users, avoiding commercial communications. Specifically, Okanagan wineries establish a relevant conversation network on Twitter based on the high percentage of responses, which is 31.3%, but this is not so in the case of Somontano, which is 12.8%. The tourist attractions most used to create a bond are the wine landscape and the gastronomy in the case of both territories. The tourism sustainability variable remains a minor matter in the emission of messages on Twitter. The deformation shows variations in structural style and shortening along and across the strike of the orogen, as a result of the dynamics of the subduction system and the features of the upper plate. In this work, we analyse the development of thin-skinned and thick-skinned fold and thrust belts in the Southern Central Andes (30–36° S). The pre-Andean history of the area determined the formation of different basement domains with distinct lithological compositions, as a result of terrane accretions during Palaeozoic time, the development of a widespread Permo-Triassic magmatic province and long-lasting arc activity. Basin development during Palaeozoic and Mesozoic times produced thick sedimentary successions in different parts of the study area. Based on estimations of strength for the different basement and sedimentary rocks, calculated using geophysical estimates of rock physical properties, we propose that the contrast in strength between basement and cover is the main control on structural style (thin- v. -

Thus, the only possible way is looking ahead to envision the future we want to leave for the generations to come and formulating the plans that will bring us closer to that vision. Therefore, it is time to work for the long-term, without neglecting the needs of the short- and medium-term. Here at the Port Authority of Bahía Blanca, we want contribute to achieve that goal. Consequently, we decided to start this long-term planning process, which includes the development of the Port Vision 2040; as we strongly believe that the port is one of the cornerstones for the expansion and prosperity of Bahía Blanca and the region. Thereafter, it is in the balanced combination of people, profit and planet that we foresee the necessary elements for a sustainable development. Moreover, stakeholder engagement is considered an essential factor to realise this long-term vision for attaining a general agreement of the steps to take. Port Vision Bahía Blanca 2040 represents the combined efforts and work of the Port Authority of Bahía Blanca, of most of the stakeholders, and of the institutions that yearn for a growing region and country. -

TERRITORIAL STUDIES IN ARGENTINA AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH ARGENTINA, A COUNTRY OF CONTRAST Course Main Goal To gain insights into Argentina’s cultural diversity and its main productive areas from the economic, cultural and environmental perspective. Course description Students will get a cross-cultural experience and perspectives on Argentina’s main productive areas and its historic and economic role as a major food producer, where people, culture, landscapes, plant and animal life are diverse. In addition, they will be culturally enriched by experiencing a blend of culture, language, history, art and traditions related to the main productive areas. The course comprises different group activities, such as, discussion groups, seminars, etc. Courseload 45 hours (2 hours period, 4 days a week plus visit sites). Students will have the chance to visit main productive sites and experience short study trips (as livestock markets, ecological reservation and Delta del Paraná Biosphere Reserve) throughout the program. Welcome to the Ornithological Congress of the Americas! Puerto Iguazú, Misiones, Argentina, from 8–11 August, 2017 Puerto Iguazú is located in the heart of the interior Atlantic Forest and is the portal to the Iguazú Falls, one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area surrounding Puerto Iguazú, the province of Misiones and neighboring regions of Paraguay and Brazil offers many scenic attractions and natural areas such as Iguazú National Park, and provides unique opportunities for birdwatching. Over 500 species have been recorded, including many Atlantic Forest endemics like the Blue Manakin (Chiroxiphia caudata), the emblem of our congress. Probably due to the topography and currents of the Península’s large bays, most of the whales that die become stranded on the beaches, allowing for reasonably accurate mortality estimates. Systematic efforts to evaluate SRW health through post-mortem examinations began in 2003. Since then, 291 SRW deaths have been recorded, with peaks in 2005, 2007 and 2008. Ninety percent of beached whales were calves, and most were female. In 2007 and 2008, 83 and 96 whales died and stranded at PV in what are considered the most extreme mortality events ever observed in any baleen whale. -

Previous studies described five localized concentrations of vesicular impact glasses from the Holocene to late Pliocene. Two more occurrences from the late Miocene are reported here: one near Chasicó (CH) with an 40Ar/39Ar age of 9.24 ± 0.09 Ma, and the other near Bahía Blanca (BB) with an age of 5.28 ± 0.04 Ma. In contrast with andesitic and dacitic impact glasses from other localities in the Pampas, the CH and BB glasses are more mafic. They also exhibit higher degrees of melting with relatively few xenoycrysts but extensive quench crystals. In addition to evidence for extreme heating (>1700 °C), shock features are observed (e.g., planar deformation features [PDFs] and diaplectic quartz and feldspar) in impact glasses from both deposits. -

Subject-matter Pursuant to the provisions set forth in Resolution ME&M No. 275 passed on August, 16th. 20171 CAMMESA calls for the submission of bids (the ‘Open Call for Tenders’) for the qualification of and possible award to national or foreign legal entities, for the purpose of executing renewable power purchase agreements to be signed with CAMMESA, acting in representation of Distribution Companies and Large Users of the Wholesale Electric Market (henceforth “MEM”), with the aim of increasing the share of renewable sources of energy in the country’s energy mix, pursuant to Laws N° 26190 and N° 27191 and Decree N° 531/2016 and its amendments. 2. Definitions ‘Additional Provider of the Technical Transmission Function’ is defined in The Procedures. ‘Adjusted Offered Price’ or ‘AOP’ is defined in Provision 18.1 of the RFP. ‘Annual Adjustment Factor’ is the value shown, for each Production Year, in the column named ‘Annual Adjustment Factor’ of Annex 8. ‘Annual Price’ is, for each Production Year, the price detailed in Annex B of the Power Purchase Agreement. ‘Argentine Peso/s’ or ‘$’ is, at any time, the effective legal tender in the Argentine Republic for that date. ‘Awarded Price’ is defined in Provision 13.1.3 of this RFP. ‘Awardee’ is the qualified Bidder who has been chosen by CAMMESA, in accordance with the instructions from the Enforcement Authority, to sign the Power Purchase Agreement by means of a Specific Purpose Entity (SPE). ‘Beneficiary’ is defined in Annex 7 of this RFP. ‘Bid Bond’ is the guarantee granted to CAMMESA by the Bidder pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in Provision 10 of the RFP.
