ISEA2012 Albuquerque: Machine Wilderness, the 18th International Symposium on Elec- tronic Art, explores the discourse of global proportions on the subject of art, technology and nature. ISEA is the world’s premier forum for advancing exchange and innovation among art- ists, scientists and technologists. As host for ISEA2012, Albuquerque joins Istanbul, Helsinki, Munich, Singapore, and other major cities worldwide as an international center for creativity and technology. ISEA2012 includes ground-breaking collaborations between art- ists and scholars with scientific and technological communities. The main conference takes place in Albuquerque September 19 – 24, 2012, with pre-conference activities in Los Alamos, Southern New Mexico and El Paso, and post-conference days along New Mexico’s “Cultural Corridor” in Santa Fe and Taos. The conference is based at the museums in Albuquerque’s Old Town, with two days Downtown and a day at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
