TEN COMMANDMENTS OF A SCI HUNT AUCTION 1. Thou shalt Bid High. It is a FUND RAISER. Paying full price or more is honorable. 2. Thou shalt contact the donor/outfitter immediately to book your trip. Waiting months to book is unacceptable. 3. Thou shalt book for open dates. Do not expect a donor to cater to your dates. 4. Thou shalt book and confirm hunt dates in a timely fashion. It should not take a year to make up your mind. 5. Thou shalt realize thou are not the only client on the planet. Other clients are already booked, deal with it. 6. Thou shalt upgrade a donation whenever possible. Bring a buddy; add or days if you can. 7. Thou shalt not blame thy guide for poor shooting. Two shots to sight-in is not practice. 8. Thou shalt not blame thy donor for weather problems. Delays and poor weather are everywhere. 9. Thou shalt not covet larger trophies It’s hunting, everyone cannot be #1. 10. Thou shalt recognize SCI is not responsible for the quality of donor, game taken or not taken thou as a hunter. Be a class sportsman or sportswoman, you are representing the rest of us in SCI.

RAFFLE AND AUCTION RULES AND REGULATIONS RAFFLE WINNERS The SCI Badgerland Chapter (referred to as Chapter) must report raffle winners with a prize Value over $600 to the IRS on Form WG2 Miscellaneous Income. In order to claim your prize, a Raffle Winner Receipt and /or Federal Firearms Form, must be completed with your name, address, social security number and other required information. Persons unable to legally accept or possess raffle items (firearms) will be paid the lower of our cost price, or $500. Tickets that are not torn apart will be ruled ineligible for winning the drawing in which they are placed and will be discarded. PAYMENT must be made the day of purchase. All non-hunt items must be picked up the day of sale or raffle. All hunt information packages must be picked up upon payment. BE SURE YOU GET YOUR HUNT PACKET FROM THE CASHIER Items or hunts not picked up will be considered a ‘no sale’ item. ITEMS All items are to be picked up and transported by the buyer or winner and must leave the venue on Saturday evening. The Chapter does not provide packaging or shipping. Chapter assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss that may occur during packing or transportation. Items may be taken after payment, completion of the Raffle Winner Receipt and /or Federal Firearms Registration Form. Handguns still require state registration and the registration site closes early on the weekend. Therefore, most handguns must be picked up at a later date at Smitty’s Gun Shop in Deerfield, WI. SALES DISCLAIMER All items are sold or raffled ‘as is‘. Chapter does not make or express any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the item or hunt‘s description, genuineness, attributions, provenance, or condition. Any warranties with respect to items or hunts are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, shall be the purchaser. In case of dispute between bidders, the auctioneer, shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder. After each item‘s sale, the successful bidder will be given an Auction sale receipt for signature. For silent auctions a list of High Bidders will be circulated to each table. An Auction Sales receipt will be presented at time of payment for Silent Auction items. Silent Auctions will close 8 PM each night.
