What will release the power of Christ? Lord, teach us (all) to pray. #1. Jesus is here. #2. Thank you, Lord. Say it to see it. Luke 17:11-14 On the way to he was passing along between and . And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance and lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed. Jesus is here. All things are possible. Luke 17:15-19 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. Then said Jesus, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well." Jesus is here; we are thankful. Where are the nine? 1. Obeying Jesus … going to the priests. 2. Getting declared religiously“clean” 3. Rejoining their families. 4. Regaining their lost lives. 5. In a hurry. 6. All of the above Jesus is here. Where are the nine? One is not in a hurry … a Samaritan, he has no priest to run to see, no Jewish law to obey … and he takes the time to give thanks to Jesus for his healing. Jesus is here. And thankful people notice Christ at work. Want to change your world? Notice Jesus. When is the last time you stopped to be thankful? Notice people and say “Thank you.”
