    North and Mid Wales RUGBY Issue 52: March 31st, 2016 GRAND SLAM WINNERS! We are pleased to welcome back player coach Ceri Redman this year who is busy putting together a ladies team. She’s already Touch rugby is taking off got plenty of volunteers and they will start training three months in Bala this summer! earlier this year to make the most of the light evenings. Last year we were lucky enough to have specialist coaching in Bala from Wrexham Raptors every other week and a few of our players went on the represent North Wales in the National trials in Swansea. We want to build on last years success and will be working in close partnership with the WTA, WRU and Wrexham Raptors to deliver regular skills clinics and quality coaching at Maes Gwyniad”. WTA Programme Manager, Matt Adams, said “It’s fantastic that newly established clubs will be hosting rounds of the WTS this year. It’s particularly pleasing to see the series being hosted at Bala RFC by Bala Touch and at Ystrad Mynach by Caerphilly Chargers. Bala RFC will be hosting two major touch rugby events this sum- mer, one for elite teams and the other for fun.
