Ammar al-Hakim Meets with Ali Bapir, Confirming that the Exchange of Opinions and Viewpoints Create Solutions and Limit Mistakes

As part of his visit to the Iraqi Region of Kurdistan and of his plan to visit the political and social leaders, elites and skills, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Superior

-Council of , met with Ali Bapir, head of the Kurdistan Islamic Group (Al Gama'a al

Islamiyya) at the latter's residence in Erbil, Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

During the meeting, the developments of the political process were discussed, where his

Eminence said the relation between the Kurds and the Superior Council has effectively cemented the relations between Southern Iraq and Northern Iraq, Sunnis and Shia and Arabs and Kurds. According to him, such relation approaches others and does not go in opposition to them. He also considered that the exchange of opinions and viewpoints entrenches the positions and limit the mistakes and that the deliberation crystallizes the solutions and decisions taken and assumed by everyone, underlying the need and importance of strong partnerships. For his part, Bapir has praised the proposals of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, expressing

admiration for the eulogy delivered by his Eminence in commemoration of the Martyr of the

Niche on 1 Rajab, in the occasion of the Iraqi Martyr's Day. He has described that speech as

a roadmap to end the crises, extolling the standings of the great al-Hakim family,

especially those of the deceased Great Ayatollah Muhsin al-Hakim (may Allah sanctify his
