ISSN 2458-8989 Abstract Book Edited by Cemal Turan 1 Dear Colleagues, It is a great honor and pleasure host all you in the International Grouper Workshop from 07 to 08 October 2016 in Bodrum, Turkey. The workshop focus on the themes belonging to Serranidae species and include invited talks and oral/poster presentations. Furthermore, the sessions will concentrate upon the most recent scientific findings as to Serranidae species and regarding topics as well. The conference will bring together leading scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. It will be a great honor for us to host you in Bodrum; the greatest city with combination of sea and forests together. The accepted abstracts presented in the International Grouper Workshop are published as a Supplement in the Natural and Engineering Sciences (NESciences). If required full text of the presentation can be published in the Natural and Engineering Sciences after reviewing process. We express our kind thanks to the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK-214O575), Iskenderun Technical University, Nature and Science Society and TUDAV for support. Yours sincerely, Cemal Turan Chair of the Workshop 2 SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE Dr. Adriana Vella (Malta) Dr. Alen Soldo (Croatia) Dr. Áthila Bertoncini Andrade (Brasil) Dr. Bayram Öztürk (Turkey) Dr. Cemal Turan (Turkey) Dr. Celia Schunter (Spain) Dr. Constantinos Tsigenopoulos (Greece) Dr. Deniz Ergüden (Turkey) Dr. Deniz Yağlıoğlu (Turkey) Dr. Funda Turan (Turkey) Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Atar (Turkey) Dr. Hüseyin Küçüktaş (USA) Dr. Kadir Seyhan (Turkey) Dr. Mehmet Gökoğlu (Turkey) Dr. Mevlüt Gürlek (Turkey) Dr. Patrice Francour (France) Dr. Persefoni Megalofonou (Greece) Dr. Petya Ivanova (Bulgaria) Dr. Sabina De Innocentiis (Italy) Necdet Uygur (Turkey) 3 ORGANIZING COMMITTEE Dr. Cemal Turan Dr. Deniz Ergüden Dr. Mevlüt Gürlek Dr. Yakup Kutlu Ali Uyan (PhD.)
