The following is a translation from the Imprimatur for the original Spanish text: Archbishop of Cochabamba Casilia 129 Cochabamba - Bolivia IMPRIMATUR: We have read Catalina's books and we are certain that their only objective is to lead us all on a journey of authentic spirituality that is based on the Gospel of Chr- ist. The books highlight as well the special place the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother to whom we should offer our complete trust and love, as her children that we are, and our role model in how to love and follow Jesus Christ. At the same time as they renew our love and devotion to the Holy Catholic Church, the books enlighten us on the actions that should characterize a truly committed Christian. For these reasons, I authorize their printing and distribution, and recommend them as texts of meditation and spiritual orientation, so as to yield much fruit for Our Lord who is calling us to save many souls, showing them that He is a living God, full of love and mercy. + Mons. Rene Fernandez Apaza Archbishop of Cochabamba April 2, l998 DEDICATED: To the Glory of God the Father To Jesus, the Son, Spring of infinite Mercy To the Holy Spirit, the kiss of love of the Holy Trinity And to the Most Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of all tenderness I renew my life offering for having been utilized, this unworthy instrument, to bring to light the Word through “The Great Crusade of Salvation”, which is a plea addressed to humanity requesting their return to the Faith. • 1 the GOSPEL ACCORDING to JOHN General Observations
1 Commentary to the Gospel according to John - Rev. John Schultz THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JOHN General Observations: The Gospel according to John and the Synoptic Gospels: The fourth book of the New Testament is in most Greek manuscript simply known as “According to John.” This links this gospel to the three preceding ones. But it is obvious that John’s Gospel is distinct from what is known as “The Synoptic Gospels.” If we would leave John’s Gospel out of our Bible, we would deprive ourselves of a large part of truth that is indispensable to our understanding of the person of Jesus Christ and of the way of salvation. John teaches us lessons that are not found in the other Gospels. The Pulpit Commentary, in its extensive introduction to the Gospel of John, highlights the following points that are representative of John’s teaching, none of which are emphasized in a similar fashion in the other Gospels: § God is Spirit § God is called “the Father” § The teaching about “The Father and the Son” § The teaching about God and the Logos § The Word made flesh § The Son of God, the Christ, the Son of Man § The Spirit and the Trinity § The world as the creature of God § The world of men § The prince of this world § Salvation of the world J. Sidlow Baxter, in his book Exploring the Book, introduces the Gospel of John as follows: “A whole volume might be filled with the encomiums which scholars and saints have written on this ‘Gospel according to John.’ Is there anywhere a more exquisite compound of infinite profundity and lingual simplicity? Was there ever a sublimer subject more ingenuously interpreted? But its priceless preciousness, of course, lies in its Divine revealings and spiritual values.

They are filled with historical fiction, Joan Didion collections, and tall, wide books of nature photography. They have been there as long as I can remember, but I only started reading books from them when I was in high school. It was in my sophomore year, after finishing off the Alice Hoffman novels and Erik Larson’s nonfiction that I stumbled upon Donna Tartt’s The Secret History. It is an immediately arresting cover: a close-up of a Greek statue’s face and neck, turned to the side, mouth slightly opened and downturned as if looking away from something terrible and regretful—something tragic. The photograph is faded and warm, almost sepia-toned, like something you might find while perusing bins in an antique store. It’s a fitting cover; The Secret History is a tragedy, and like all tragedies, it owes a deep debt to the past. When I finally read and finished the book, it was the tragedy that held me—not because it was classical and well-crafted (it was both), but because of the unfairness.

January 9, 2017, Issue 532 Gale, Owen In Good Company “It was unbelievably short notice and very flattering.” That’sJake Owen’s new manager Keith Gale on their partnership in Good Company Entertainment (CAT 1/5). Gale has been integral to Owen’s career from the outset. “I guess I’ve been a de-facto advisor for years, but for the life of me I never saw this coming,” he says. Owen parted ways with Morris Higham Management before the holidays. Says Gale, “Out of nowhere he said, ‘Why don’t you be my manager?’ I went, ‘Come again?’” Ultimately, he and Owen share a singular focus and vision that goes back more than a decade. “I’ve had 13 great years with Dale Morris and that team,” Owen tells Country Aircheck. “I wouldn’t be where I am with- out them, but it was time to make a change. • A Word to Our Readers to Begin With, Many Thanks to You All for Making 2012 an Outstanding Year for Us
A Word To Our Readers To begin with, many thanks to you all for making 2012 an outstanding year for us. It seems that the world has finally discovered the source of true knowledge, of peace of mind, and a more abundant and eternal way of life. Every month, our site was visited by people from about 80 countries, but when we looked at the year as a whole we discovered that we had unique visitors from 130 countries. And they did not just come and go, but downloaded our materials by the gigabyte. Nothing could make us happier, for it shows that our efforts have not been in vain. We could not help but think of the Scripture which says: “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days” (Ecc 11:1). We just hope that “many days” will not be too many, for we are getting a bit tired and old to keep carrying on this burden alone. Now while an impressive number of people make good use of our website, the fact remains that many come to us not to seek further enlightenment on spiritual matters but to contend and argue with us. That makes us happy too, for our witness must go out to sinners and righteous alike. We just wonder why people are so defensive about their religion when it has become obvious that it is false and they worship the wrong gods. Do they really know what they worship? Have they ever considered or heard of these statements from Jesus Christ and His Apostles? Joh 4:21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Humanity Must Be Saved From Self-Destruction: The Pope The Pope used his Christmas message to declare that saving humanity of homosexual conduct is as important as saving the tropical forests from destruction. He emphasised the importance of marriage between men and women and condemned homosexual acts as being against the will of God. “The Church must defend not only the earth, water and air as gifts of creation as belonging to everyone, but also humanity against self-destruction”, he said. In this context, the Pope showed that saving humanity of homosexuality is on the same line with saving the forests. Tropical forests deserve our protection, but man, as created, deserves nothing less.” In a clear reference to homosexuality, Pope Benedict XVI, showed that disrespect for the union between man and woman has been raised to the level of self-destruction of humanity. Moreover, he continued, any deviation from the principle of man/woman marriage is a “destruction of God’s creation”. The Catholic Church appreciated that homosexual acts are a sin. It is against marriage between people of the same sex, and in October the Vatican called homosexuality as being “a deviation, an irregularity”. This way, the Vatican opposes a United Nations declaration that wants to outlaw discrimination against homosexuals. Moreover, in some states such as Iran and Saudi Arabia, homosexuality draws the death penalty. The Vatican spokesman, Federico Lombardi, felt the need to clarify that the Vatican condemns the death penalty for any infraction, including homosexuality. (Romania Libera, 23 December, 2008) No one can say that we never publish anything good about the Pope.
