Classic: Latte

Caffe latte is a coffee drink made with espresso and steamed . The word comes from the Italian caffè e latte, caffelatte or caffellatte, which means "coffee & milk".

Ingredients: Milk or alternative milk (steamed, add a tiny amount of foam) Espresso (1-shot 8/12oz, 2-shots 16/20oz, 3-shots 24/32oz)

Did you know? The basic steps of latte art starts with the barista pouring the steamed milk into the center of the espresso crema. Steadily and smoothly pour the milk and change the pattern of the pour to create your art.

Classic: Americano

Caffè Americano is a type of coffee drink prepared by diluting an espresso with hot water, giving it a similar strength to, but different from, traditionally brewed coffee. The strength of an Americano varies with the number of shots of espresso and the amount of water added.

Ingredients: Water (steamed) Espresso (1-shot 8/12oz, 2-shots 16/20oz, 3-shots 24/32oz)

Did you know? A normal Americano is made by adding steamed water to the espresso mellowing out the flavor of the drink̶similar to a drip coffee. A Long Black on the other hand is the reverse. At W Grind, our default is to pour a Long Black to maximize the flavor of the espresso and the crema̶pour the espresso over the steamed water…but if a customer asks for a drip coffee, the reverse order might be more in line with their expectations.

Classic: Mocha

A caffè mocha, also called mocaccino, is a -flavored variant of a caffè latte. Other commonly used spellings are mochaccino and mochachino. The name is derived from the city of Mocha, Yemen, which was one of the centers of early coffee trade.

Ingredients: Chocolate milk (steamed) or White milk with powder for a white mocha (steamed) Espresso (1-shot 8/12oz, 2-shots 16/20oz, 3-shots 24/32oz) Whip (optional)

Did you know? Other coffee stands and chains make their mochas using white milk and chocolate syrups, we pride ourselves at W Grind in making our mochas with great tasting, steamed chocolate milk like a latte. Latte art can also be applied here to a mocha. Alternate can be used but then we use the best tasting chocolate syrups instead of milk.

Classic: Caramel Macchiato

A favorite latte macchiato (different from a latte) that combines flavoring ( and caramel in this case) with espresso and steamed milk.

Ingredients: Milk or alternative milk (steamed) Vanilla or -free vanilla (8oz=2 pumps, 12oz=3, 16oz=4, 20oz=5, 24oz=6, 32oz=8) Caramel (16oz=1 big squeeze and reduce/increase based on cup size from there) Espresso (1-shot 8/12oz, 2-shots 16/20oz, 3-shots 24/32oz) Whip (optional)

Did you know? A latte macchiato means “stained” or “marked” milk. Itʼs a play on the espresso macchiato, stained espresso. Latte macchiatos are mostly milk and foam with a little bit of espresso; espresso macchiatos are the opposite.

Classic: Cappuccino

A cappuccino is an espresso-based coffee drink that originated in Italy and is traditionally prepared with steamed milk foam. Variations of the drink involve the use of instead of milk, using non- milks, and flavoring with cinnamon or chocolate powder.

Ingredients: Milk or alternative milk (steamed) Flavoring (optional) (8oz=2 pumps, 12oz=3, 16oz=4, 20oz=5, 24oz=6, 32oz=8) Espresso (1-shot 8/12oz, 2-shots 16/20oz, 3-shots 24/32oz)

Did you know? A traditional cappuccino has an even distribution of espresso, steamed milk, and foamed milk. A latte has way more steamed milk and a light layer of foam. A cappuccino is distinctly layered, while in a latte the espresso and steamed milk are blended together.

Specialty Shakes!

These are specials weʼve developed over time and intended to be made as a shake. The difference between our shakes and frapps is that our shakes donʼt have espresso unless ordered dirty. All of these shakes can be made with alternative milks, whipped cream options and in some cases, special toppings like oreos, reeseʼs PB cups and/or a cherry. Other shake are available with Big Train powders, heavy whip, ice, etc.

Classic Teas

At W Grind we serve hot, cold and some specialty teas. Your normal tea is simply steamed water and tea bag (1 bag: 12/16oz, 2 bags: 24oz, 3 bags: 32oz).

Ingredients: • Earl Grey Latte: Milk and Earl Grey Tea made like a Café Latte • London Fog: Earl Grey Latte with Vanilla and Breve (half and half milk) • Woodinville Fog: Early Grey Latte with Honey, Lavender and Breve (half and half milk)

• Refresher Infused: Pomegranate raspberry tea with a little lemonade, blueberries, dried strawberries and 2 thinly sliced lemons

Did you know? Earl Grey tea is a tea blend which has been flavored with the addition of oil of bergamot. The rind's fragrant oil is added to black tea to give Earl Grey its unique taste.

Chai Teas

Chai tea can be sweet, spicy or made dirty (shot of espresso)…itʼs much stronger tea than the classic black teas with the addition of various spices and flavors. Chai teas can be made iced, hot or even blended (but might need a sweet added flavor); or like a latte, etc.

Ingredients: • Sweet Chai: Powder chai and milk • Spicy Chai: Chai syrup and milk • Dirty Chai: Either of the above + espresso

Did you know? Masala chai is a flavored tea beverage made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. Originating in the Indian subcontinent, the beverage has gained worldwide popularity, becoming a feature in many coffee and tea houses.

Redbull or Lotus Drinks

Redbull or the organic alternative, Lotus, drinks can be made iced, with additional flavors or blended with an optional whipped topping. Redbulls come in 24oz or 32oz (one can size amount plus add-ins) and Lotus drinks can come in 12oz, 16oz, 24oz or 32oz.

Italian Sodas

The Italian soda is made with soda water, flavored syrup, and ice. When you add half and half to the Italian soda then it becomes a French soda or an Italian cream soda.

Kids Drinks

Basically, any drink in our arsenal of drinks can be made kid-friendly̶meaning not as hot (add ice to cool down the drink) and without …no parent wants to hype up their young kids with caffeine or sugar intentionally! The most popular of these drinks includes the Vanilla Steamer and .

Ingredients: • Vanilla Steamer: Vanilla syrup and milk (optional whip with sprinkles, lollipop) • Hot Chocolate: Steamed chocolate milk (optional whip with sprinkles, lollipop)

Did you know? Caffeine affects kids and adults similarly and, at lower levels, can make people feel more alert and energetic. Foods and drinks with caffeine are everywhere, but it's wise to keep caffeine consumption to a minimum, especially in younger kids. In both kids and adults, too much caffeine can cause: jitters and nervousness.
