Joshi [email protected] Mike O’Driscoll Stewart O’Nan Peter Straub Nominees Announced for the Ann VanderMeer 2012 Shirley Jackson Awards Jurors Laird Barron Boston, MA (May 2013) -- In recognition of the legacy of Shirley Chesya Burke Jackson’s writing, and with permission of the author’s estate, The Ellen Datlow Shirley Jackson Awards, Inc. has been established for outstanding Jack Haringa achievement in the literature of psychological suspense, horror, and Graham Sleight the dark fantastic. The Shirley Jackson Awards are voted upon by a jury of professional Board of Directors writers, editors, critics, and academics, with input from a Board of F. Brett Cox Advisors. The awards are given for the best work published in the JoAnn F. Cox John Langan preceding calendar year in the following categories: Novel, Novella, Sarah Langan Novelette, Short Story, Single-Author Collection, and Edited Paul Tremblay Anthology.
