Language issues on Windows 7 Main Language User interface is completely in that language. Microsoft products distributed by UPC are in Spanish or English. Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) Translate most of user interface. Need a valid license. It can be only installed on Ultimate or Enterprise versions. It is available across Windows update. Language Interface Pack (LIP) Translate the most used areas of the user interface. It can be downloaded freely. Is necessary a main language. Català (LIP) Needs French or Spanish as main language (any edition) Español (LIP) Any main language (Ultimate or Enterprise) English (LIP) Any main language (Ultimate or Enterprise) Language issues on Microsoft Office Language interface packs provide a set of tools in a number of languages for five Office 2010 programs: Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. They do not contain Help/User Assistance as part of the download package, but some help files can be downloaded separately for some languages from the download site. The LIPs can be downloaded for free from Office Language Interface Pack (LIP) downloads. Language packs contain localized user interface text for most Office 2010 programs: Access, Excel, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, SharePoint Workspace, Visio, and Word. They also have more proofing tools than LIPs, such as grammar checkers. Language packs can be purchased from Office Language Packs.
