The Covid-19 Vaccine Roll-Out & Other Important News from your Surgery

Thank you to the Doctors and Staff of Prescott Surgery

On behalf of the Patient Group and myself, I would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff of Prescott Surgery for their continuous hard work and invaluable support to all patients. The surgery is open and as a community we are incredibly lucky to have a practice that has remained open throughout the pandemic. The unprecedented pace at which our surgery has adapted in response to COVID-19 has been fantastic, transforming the way primary care services operate, introducing total triage, delivering remote consultations alongside face-to-face appointments, in order to serve as many patients as possible, while protecting staff and the public from infection. Your work has been and continues to be exemplary and amazing.

Please continue to take care of yourselves and your families. As a community we realise the sacrifices you have made during this unprecedented time, however, your health and wellbeing matters too.

Thank you to you all. Our community and our patients are proud of you and very grateful for the support, care and services you provide.

Jackie Jones – Chair, Prescott Surgery Patient Group

If this was at Severn Fields Medical Practice, you will be contacted by the 12 week interval using the same method as we did for your first vaccine. There is no need to contact the practice, and we prefer you not to as this takes us away from dealing with other queries. If you have not heard from us within five days of your 2nd vaccine date, it is at this time that we will ask you Newsletter prepared to contact us. by Mrs Tracy Willocks, Practice The second dose of the vaccine helps to give you long term protection.
