Pastýřjde a hledá ji. Prostě majetek a snadný život zatemňuje mysl. Připomeňmesi františkány a dominikány 13. století, jezuity 16. století.

  • Vassula Ryden
NOVEMBER 25/DECEMBER 8/12, 2012 Vassula Ryden: Problems with Rome, Bishops worldwide and her own Orthodox Church, but welcome in India Vassula Ryden is a controversial Greek-Orthodox "seer" who claims to receive written messages from God. The intention of this alert is to provide reliable information to the Bishops, heads of retreat centers, lay leaders in ministry, and the Catholic laity at large in the Indian Church about the status of acceptance by the Catholic and Orthodox Churches of the Greek Orthodox "seer" named Vassula Ryden and her "messages". This alert will gradually be developed into a more-detailed report* which can be viewed under the same title at the "REPORTS" section of this ministry’s web site. Interested readers are requested to check our web site periodically for updates and new articles. *This report was updated on December 8, 2012. See pages 27 ff. Also see VASSULA RYDEN-TESTIMONIES at http://ephesians-511.net/docs/VASSULA_RYDEN_TESTIMONIES.doc. That file in the "CATHOLIC ISSUES" section of our web site contains four testimonies reproduced from www.infovassula.ch, a critical website on Vassula Ryden and her "True Life in God" messages. The www.infovassula.ch website which was run by a Switzerland-based Catholic apologist Maria Laura Pio had to be shut down because of legal proceedings initiated against her in a civil court in Belgium in 2011 by the "True Life in God" [TLIG]"seer" Vassula Ryden and her team of legal experts. More of that later. The writing and publishing of this alert is immediately necessitated by the receipt of information concerning the imminent visit of Vassula Ryden to various Catholic locations in India* on the back of a trip by her to Paris and Strasbourg in France which however has elicited strong warnings from six French bishops**.

  • Empowerment of Women
Cardinal Stanis »aw Ry »ko President Pontifical Council for the Laity Vatican City Empowerment of Women in the Church and Society I. Introduction On behalf of the Pontifical Council for the Laity I cordially greet all the cardinals, archbishops and bishops that are taking part in this assembly. I would like to greet most especially the President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India, His Eminence Cardinal Telesphore Toppo, and the Apostolic Nuncio to India, His Excellency Archbishop Pedro López Quintana. I am very happy to be able to take part in this Plenary Assembly and I thank you for having honoured me with your invitation. The topic you have chosen, “Empowerment of Women in the Church and Society”, is appropriate in a year that commemorates the 20 th anniversary of the Apostolic Letter Mulieris dignitatem by the Servant of God John Paul II. This is a truly providential document in the magisterium of the Church that has given us major guidelines concerning the presence of women in the Church and in society. Years have passed, but this document has not lost its relevance and it continues to be a contemporary resource that summons our attention today. It is for this reason that the Pontifical Council for the Laity decided to commemorate this anniversary by organising a congress on "Woman and man, the humanum in its entirety" that took place a few days ago in Rome with the participation of 250 delegates from around the world. The objective was to take stock of the progress made over the past twenty years with regard to the advancement of women and recognition of their dignity.

Among them, was a small boy. When the angel returned to heaven, he said to himself, “Let me also go over to Bethle- hem and worship the Saviour” He took along with him his little pet lamb, his buddy. He often felt sad as he was extremely poor. Even when he set out to Bethlehem he was disturbed in his thoughts: “How can a babe born in a manger be a Saviour to me?” When he reached the stable, he found a little baby in a miserable, shabby manger. He thought to himself, “What, someone poorer than me!” He was so taken up with concern and was moved with compassion. He took out his rag to cover the baby shivering in the cold. Not knowing what more to do, he removed the bell hung on the neck of his little lamb and placed it lovingly in the tiny hands of baby Jesus, saying to himself, “What a pity! He doesn’t have even a small toy.” As soon as his hand touched that of the babe in the manger the bell turned gold! That sparked a new light in his heart as well.
