Passion for the Olympics Known as one of the hardest working players in hockey, Zach brought his work ethic and elite skill set to the in Vancouver. He helped the U.S. Olympic men’s team make an improbable run to the -medal game against Canada. Zach’s experience on the ice gives Team USA fans something to look forward to in Sochi and beyond.

Personal Zach comes from a talented family, his father, Jean-Paul Parise, was an NHL all-star champion and his brother Jordan Parise is a professional hockey player. In 2002, Zach joined the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota where he was named to the Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s All-Rookie Team in his first year. In 2003, Zach was drafted by NHL’s New Jersey Devils. Between Olympic Games, Zach plays for his home state of the NHL.
