MANITOBA SOCCER ASSOCIATION 2018 PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS TO TAKE PLACE SATURDAY, JULY 28

Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) is pleased to announce that the finals of the 2018 Provincial Championships Competition will take place on Saturday, July 28th at the Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex (RCSC).

In the Manitoba master’s division, the women’s final will be held on July 28th at 4:00 p.m. and will see Classics SC take on Winnipeg Storm. The Master men’s division final will be played at 1:00 p.m. and will see Rovers FC take on Galacticos SC in a rematch of last year’s final.

The Manitoba Senior Men’s final will be held at 6:00 p.m. and will feature a matchup between Winnipeg Lions FC and Lucania FC.

In the U15 division, the girl’s finals will see Bonivital SC v. St. Charles Force at 10:00 a.m., while the boy’s final will see Bonivital SC take on FC Northwest at 9:00 a.m.

The U17 division will see FC Northwest take on Bonivital SC in the girl’s final at 12:00 p.m., while FC Northwest will also play Bonivital SC in the boy’s final at 3:00 p.m.

All Provincial Championship Competition champions will qualify to compete at the National Club Championships organized by the Canadian Soccer Association. The Western Masters Club Championships will be held in Richmond, from September 21-23. The 2018 Toyota National Championships will take place in three locations: , for the Men’s and Women’s Jubilee Trophy; Surrey, British Columbia for the U17 Cup; and Laval, for the U15 Cup. All Toyota National Championships will be held from October 3-8, 2018.

Sebastian Goldstein, MSA Programs Manager, commented that ““The MSA is looking forward to a great final day of quality soccer and is excited for all player’s as they compete for a spot at Club National’s. We encourage everyone to attend the matches and enjoy the talent that will be on display. Good luck to all teams involved.”
