RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT EPK RE:GENERATION Song By Song The RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT, produced in association with The GRAMMYs® and presented by Hyundai Veloster, examines the history of different music through the eyes of five of the most influential electronic producer/DJ’s in music today. For the project, Mark Ronson, DJ Premier, The Crystal Method, Pretty Lights and Skrillex each take a specific musical style and explore it by writing and recording a brand new track with a grouping of influential collaborators in that genre. SKRILLEX hit a Los Angeles studio with Members of The Doors in order to re-envision rock 'n' roll on "Breakn' a Sweat.” Meanwhile, THE CRYSTAL METHOD touched down in Detroit to work with Martha Reeves of The Vandellas and The Funk Brothers on an R&B number entitled "I'm Not Leaving.” Then there's MARK RONSON's southern brew of New Orleans jazz, "A La Modeliste," boasting a veritable all-star cast: Erykah Badu, Trombone Shorty, Mos Def, Zigaboo Modeliste and Members of The Dap Kings. J “Reflections on Ibiza´s nightlife tourism” REFLEXIONES SOBRE EL TURISMO DE OCIO NOCTURNO DE IBIZA José Ramón Cardona1 Resumen Los orígenes de la oferta de ocio nocturno de Ibiza se encuentran a finales de los años cincuenta, pero las discotecas tal como se conocen hoy surgieron en los setenta. La imagen actual de fiesta sería difícil de explicar sin la expansión de los años ochenta, con discotecas como Ku, y a partir de los noventa se formó un grupo de discotecas y otros establecimientos que se han convertido en referentes mundiales. El éxito del sector se fundamenta en empresarios y establecimientos con una larga trayectoria y una importante política de reinversión e innovación, que ha transformado lentamente a las discotecas más longevas. Pero su mayor relevancia se encuentra en su capacidad para atraer turistas, marcando la verdadera temporada alta de la isla. El turismo clubber es el principal complemento del turismo de sol y playa, y juntos representan la mayor parte del negocio turístico de Ibiza. Pero es una actividad controvertida y con mala imagen entre los residentes, debido a las molestias que provoca (ruidos, tráfico, fiestas en la calle, etc.) y por el miedo a que genere un efecto imitación entre los habitantes de la isla (drogas, alcohol, promiscuidad sexual, etc.). Ello ha generado un continuo debate entre la libertad que piden los empresarios para ofrecer una mejor oferta, y las limitaciones que piden los vecinos, para descansar y no sufrir molestias.
