This year’s winners of the Society for Information Display’s Honors and Awards include Hiroyuki Ohshima, who will receive the Karl Ferdinand Braun Prize for his contributions to LTPS technology and the mobile-display industry; Shui-Chih Alan Lien, who has earned the Jan Rajchman Prize for his contributions to LCD science and technology; Martin S. Banks, who will receive the Otto Schade Prize for his research into the causes of viewer discomfort and misperceptions in depth and motion; Deng-Ke Yang, who has earned the Slottow-Owaki Prize for his contributions to the education of students and professionals in the field of liquid- crystal displays; Kenneth I.
