KPG activities are closely aligned to the KP Government’s Integrated Development Strategy (IDS) that integrates government priorities under one framework and provides a roadmap for achievements of targets outlined in the Strategic Development Partnership Framework (SDPF). Working with the government and civil society, KPG focuses on supporting the achievements of relevant priority objectives. During the reporting period, eight grant proposals were approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), bringing the cumulative grants total to 48. Kick-off and grant signing meetings with the grantees were held at the KPG Peshawar office for initiating grant implementation activities. The total number of completed and closed grants at the close of the quarter was 31, whereas four grants have been withdrawn, canceled or suspended. As detailed in this report, this quarter saw by far the most project activity to date; following are the grant summaries during the quarter. ACTIVITIES UNDER PUBLIC SECTOR ‘Strengthening Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Services Commission’ grant activities included the hosting of the developed reports on a test server for testing and demonstration. The web-based system, applications, and system reports were also deployed via the production server to improve the operational efficiency of the commission. Ninety-five percent of the developed reports are deployed on the Performance Management System (PeMS) production server. The training will be conducted in two batches with 14 participants in each training. The ‘Strengthening Provincial Housing Authority’ grant activity continued with KPG providing short- term technical assistance to the Provincial Housing Authority with data entry and troubleshooting of the web portal and management information system (MIS). The grant was technically completed by end of the reporting quarter. Under the grant activity ‘Customization of Zakat Management Information System (ZMIS)’, the IT equipment was handed-over and the vendor selection process for the data entry of 50,000 beneficiaries was completed. The ‘Strengthening of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission’ grant included the provision of IT equipment and networking installation for the Health Care Commission office that was completed. KPG also provided other equipment per the bill of quantity and the grant closed on June 30, 2018. In Bannu District, grant activities included 18 sets of three-day training workshops for 442 village councilors and neighborhood councilors on the KP Local Government Act 2013 and other relevant rules. ACTIVITIES UNDER CIVIL SOCIETY SECTOR The ‘Establishing Local Government Good Governance Index (LGGGI)’ grant targeted 4,000 students from 30 different colleges and universities in Peshawar. SMS campaigns were carried out with an estimated 100,000 messages disseminated to the community/stakeholders. Five of the index 3 reports, including a consolidated index report, were distributed among 600 beneficiaries and the grant completed on May 23, 2018. The ‘Awareness Campaign on Insaf Sehat Sahulat Cards’ grant resumed activities on April 26, 2018, after a
