Note : the Christmas Cup is a SARA innovation introduced to make the early part of the season a bit more fun and appealing to school leavers and senior rowers. It consists of a round robin series of 2-boat races held over a number of regattas. Over the “minor round” each crew is pitted against each of the other crews, with the two best performing women’s crews and men’s crews meeting in the finals for an annual trophy. Crews can be changed during the minor rounds enabling all of our eligible rowers to participate. • VolumeVolume 6 Issue 6 Issue 5 5 PagePage 7 7
