Western Elementary School August 2008 PTO Newsletter Volume 3, Issue 3 President Come to the Carnival! Millie Wrobleski Vice President Come to the Western Elementary Fall Carnival this coming Friday, Emily Moon September 5 from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. ! You won’t want to miss out on all the Secretary fun and the opportunity to support our school. There will be baskets for Amanda Long silent auction and flower pots for live auction (be sure to bring your checkbook!). Kids will enjoy a cakewalk, inflatables, face painting, pony Treasurer Lori Showalter rides, sand art, wax hands, a magic show, and lots of games with prizes. Come with a big appetite because there will be pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, cotton candy, and shaved ice. Programs Update PTO MEMBERSHIP CONTEST The class who turns in the most boxtops and labels by November 1 will win a pizza party. Also, don't forget to send in empty printer cartridges. Everyone’s got one, so wear it proudly! Friday, Sept. 5, is Western Wear Day . Wear red and black to show your support! (If you want a Western Elementary TT----shirtshirt to wear, send $10 in an envelope marked “PTO TT----shirt.”shirt.” Be sure to include a note with the color (red or gray), size, child’s name, and teacher’s name.) Carnival Food Price List Get your Carnival Activity Bracelet Now!
