The teams have been working hard to reach this point and I am pleased to see how they have improved as individuals and as a team. I have included some important information with regards to travel details in this letter. If you have not already paid the final balance for the trip, please ensure that 3500RMB is paid as soon as possible. Parents pre-games meeting I would like to invite you all to a meeting on Monday 11 th May 2015 at 15:35 -16:00 in the Secondary school, room 164. During this meeting we will cover the travel arrangements for parents who are going to Manila and any outstanding questions you may have regarding this exciting experience. Trip Itinerary Wednesday 13 May 11:45 Bus leaves BISS Puxi for Pudong airport (students and staff) A school packed lunch will be provided. 16:00 The team will fly to Manila on the flight PR337 19:40 Arrive in Manila and travel via hosts transport to the hotel (details below) Thursday 14 May Athletics and swimming tournament begins at British School Manila and Makati Stadium Friday 15 May Tournament continues with T-ball at British school Manila Saturday 16 May Tournament continues with football at British School Manila Evening Gala dinner and awards ceremony Sunday 17 May Bus will leave the hotel directly to the Airport where students will travel back to Shanghai on flight number P336 which leaves Manila at 11:25 and is due to land at 14:55. There will be no school transport pick up from the airport on our return. Parents should make plans to collect their own child or have them travel home with another parent. In the latter case, please inform us in advance who will be taking your child home. Non sport clothes Each evening the students will be given some free time to relax in their rooms. For this they will need some comfortable clothes, a change of underwear and a pair of non-competition footwear. The students should bring smart casual clothes for the gala dinner on the final night. There will be a disco where all the schools can celebrate their success.
