Arrive by Myanmar Airway International (MAI) 8M 336 -11:25 AM flight to Yangon International Airport. Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes it one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia. We will start visit downtown area to see Sule pagoda located on a roundabout in downtown Yangon, Yangon City Hall of Myanmar architectural design, High Court noted for its British colonial architecture including its red-bricked exterior and Mahabandoola Park a public botanical area downtown Yangon. We will continue to visit Bogyoke Market, known for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets, the market is a major tourist destination, dominated by antique, Burmese handicraft and jewellery shops, art galleries, and clothing stores. In the evening, we will visit to the enjoyable experience of the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda. Its world-renowned golden stupa is the ‘heart’ of Buddhist Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated structures and statues. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon. Upon arrival, drive to Amarapura -once a royal city and now it is where the best craftsmen of the country have their ateliers; enjoy the great serenity of U Bein Bridge –the world’s longest teak bridge. The U Bein footbridge stretches almost three-quarters of a mile over Thaungthaman Lake, and is heavily utilized by the local monks in maroon robes who carry alms bowls back and forth to monasteries; and then we’ll visit Mahagandaryon Monastery where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks. It is not only the most reputed and well- known monastery in Myanmar but also known by all tourists from all over the world for its unique value like a person with good perfume attracts people all around without being seen. The name of the monastery means “The sense of perfume”. Following, we visit the traditional hand –woven silk workshop before continuing our drive to Mandalay city. We will visit over to Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image -the most ancient Buddha image casted in bronze in Myanmar and visit gold leaf beating workshop. Afternoon, visit to Royal Palace compound-original Palace was destroyed during world war two and a replica was built in 1995. Then continue to Shwe Nandaw Monastery -the most beautiful monastery dated 19 century and Kuthodaw Pagoda complex -the largest book in the world (792 stone tablets into which are inscribed the entire Buddhist canon are completed in 1878). Finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to enjoy sunset. It is worthy to have a stroll up the hill enjoying panoramic views from different location. Stay overnight at hotel in Mandalay. Bagan, located on the banks of the Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) River, is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world with many dating from the 11th and 12th centuries. On arrival, our sightseeing is starting the one of Asia’s most popular archaeological destination would include highlights such as busy Bagan’s distinctive pagodas such as Shwezigon, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas. Next stop is Htilominlo, the last Bamar style temple built in Bagan, with old murals and friezes, Ananda Pagoda, one of the finest, largest and best preserved in Old Bagan, Thatbyinnyu, the tallest temple in Bagan. Afterwards, visit a lacquerware craft shop to see the process of hand-making beautiful artefacts. In the afternoon, drive to Taung Bi Village and see suitable monastery for alms food offering to monks since many Buddhist monasteries are located in this village. Later we will drive to the most famous old wooden monastery, Nat Htauk Kyaung, Gawdawpalin, the most massive and imposing monument in Bagan and Bupaya or Bu Pagoda, situated right on the river bank of the Ayeyarwaddy was a favorite place to watch the sunset. Stay overnight at hotel in Bagan. After breakfast at the hotel, we'll visit Nyaung Oo Market where villagers gather every day to buy and sell their produce and other goods. Theb proceed to Myinkaba village and observe the process of traditional lacquer-ware, one of the best-known Myanmar handricrafts and a speciality of Bagan. Visit Myinkaba Gubyaukkyi (an early period Pyu-style temple of Hindu influence). Nextstop at Manuha and Nanpaya temples. We will have a panoramic sunset view of an entire ruin of Bagan from Shwesandaw Pagoda built by King Anawrahta in 1057. Then proceed to the largest and best preserved of all the Bagan temples and Dhammayangyi Temple, Pyathadar (Pyithatgyi) Temple, the most interesting monastery in Bagan especially one of the interested and the latter period of temple building at Bagan. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the airport for your flight back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel for check in. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon. Breakfast at hotel, visit to Botataung Pagoda & Jetty can be viewed after talking a short walk towards the Yangon River. Then proceed to Chautatkhgyi pagoda, famed for the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Myanmar. After lunch we will proceed to Kabar Aye Pagoda is located on Kabar Aye Road. Myanmar. The name “Kaba Aye” in Myanmar means “World Peace” to which this pagoda is dedicated and proceed to The Buddhist Art Museum at the Kabar Aye Pagoda has a wide collection of religious paraphernalia and Buddhist texts. Then, visit to the name of the Kabar Aye Cave is "Maha Pasana", meaning "Great Cave of Stone" and was built in 1953. It was in this great cavern that the Sixth Buddhist Synod was inaugurated in the year 2498 of the Buddhist Era (1954 AD) with 2500 venerable monks convening to recite and verify the words of the Buddha in Pali.
