Club Championships Chris Noble and Krystyna Anderson Are the Club Singles Champions for 2009 The University of Queensland Tennis Club Inc. Newsletter www.uqtc.org.au Print Post Publication No. PP444461/00002 September 2009 Club Championships Chris Noble And Krystyna Anderson are the Club Singles Champions for 2009. The 2009 Annual Club Championships were played over three Sundays (6, 13 & 20 Septem- ber). This was a traditional style of championship tour- nament using a knock-out format. All Singles matches were played as the best-of-three tie-break sets. Doubles matches consisted of two tie-break sets with a deciding match tie-break (10 points) if the score reached one set all. 87 players took part in the Championships. The largest event was the B grade Men’s Singles which was contested by 29 players.
