Expected Learning Outcome completion of this course, learners are expected to be able to evaluate materials and fashion trend issues to generate appealing and practical fashion sportswear and bodywear design ideas for further development; create fashion sportswear and bodywear desogm collections using hand-drawing and CAD skills, and manage the design portfolio producton in fashion sportswear and bodywear design, from ideas generation, development, translation, illustration, to design portfolio presentation.

He is a founder of the former Ace Style Group, Founder & Honorary Chairman in Hong Kong Intimate Apparel Industries Association, Founder of Ace Style Institute of Intimate Apparel in De Monfort University. And in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he is the Founder of Ace Style Institute of Intimate Apparel in Institute of Textiles & and Adjunct Professor. He is also the Lecturer at Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, Founding Member of Cornell Institute of Fashion & Fiber Innovation Prof Andrew Sia (CIFFI) in New York, Consultant for teaching project at Hong Kong Design Institute, and Founder of IAJ Programme Consultant Continuous Education Initiative TM, Publisher of Intimate Apparel Journal.

Being a Managing Director at Top Form International Limited (one of the leading OEM brassiere manufacturer globally), Kenneth has over 20 years of experience in this intimate apparel industry. Kenneth actively participated in many advisory committees including the Chairman of HKIAIA, Advisory Committee for Institute of Textile & Clothing of PolyU and Garment Advisory Committee for HKTDC while he also received the Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong by FHKI in 2016. Christine has over 30 years of experience in sourcing and merchandising for global apparel business for markets of US, Canada, UK and Asia while she is familiar with the holistic category operation including strategic plan, trend forecast, budget planning, and product development. She worked for global companies such as Walmart, Sears, The GAP, Synergy Sportswear and J & B Casual Wears, etc. Christine Mak Lecturer

Wendy has over 25 years of experience in clothing and textile industry while she has a strong background in knitting engineering. She has been involved in research and development in sports technology development since 2004. She has been working for international companies including Li Ning Group, Invista China, Dupont Textiles & Interiors, etc. Wendy Lai Lecturer

After studying Art & Design Art & Design (Fashion Communication & Promotion) from Central St. Martins College of Art & Design in London, Ho Tak returned to HK and got a Master of Arts in Fashion and Textiles Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before joining the academic workforce, he has worked as fashion and product designers in the sportswear sectors globally, working for International groups such as - group (Boston, US), Pentland Group (London, UK) and Li Ning Sports (Beijing, China). His expertise knowledge in sports Ho Tak Lecturer fashion and technical active sportswear came from his eight years of work experiences designing sports fashion apparels and products. This includes conducting seasonal market research globally, designing and styling technical uniforms for various national teams during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Chan Chieh was graduated from the Hong Kong Polytech and obtained M.Sc in Technological Economics. He has been in the textile and apparel industries for over 40 years working in multi sectors from spinning to garment manufacturing. He also has widened experience working with brands in multi-functions from technical to development. Chan Chieh is now the Senior Director of Technical & Raw Materials of Knits in Gap International Sourcing.
