Creating a Change for Climate in Kenya – yesterday afternoon (7th) it was a pleasure to welcome 40+ people to the Centre to listen to a presentation by James Galgallo from Kenya on the ravages of climate change in the vulnerable communities of this part of East Africa. It was good to hear about CAFOD’s work globally and to listen to the viewpoints of our local people here, during an interesting and wide reaching discussion afterwards. Many of their messages resonated with Gandhi’s famous adage (above). Sincere thanks to everyone who came along and supported this excellent event. Thanks also for the ongoing support of the , Lancashire Telegraph and Radio Lancashire.
