1 WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONES AND SPECIAL AREAS BOUNDARIES, 1990 W-13.1 REG 45 The Wildlife Management Zones and Special Areas Boundaries Regulations, 1990 being Chapter W-13.1 Reg 45 (effective September 5, 1990) as amended by Saskatchewan Regulations 82/91, 95/92, 48/94, 59/95, 71/96, 88/97, 20/98, 73/98, 54/1999, 70/2000, 101/2000, 77/2001, 68/2004, 62/2007, 130/2008 and 15/2014. Interpretation 2(1) In these regulations, “Northern Provincial Forest” means the Northern Provincial Forest described in Part III of the Appendix to The Forest Resources Management Regulations. (2) Any reference in these regulations to a provincial highway, provincial road or municipal road is a reference to the provincial highway, provincial road or municipal road as published in the most recent version of the Saskatchewan Official Road Map that is based on data maintained by the ministry over which the minister responsible for the administration of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997 presides. (3) Any reference in these regulations to a provincial highway, provincial road, municipal road, road or trail as a wildlife management zone boundary means the centreline of the referenced provincial highway, provincial road, municipal road, road or trail is deemed to be the boundary. (4) Any reference in these regulations to a provincial highway containing four lanes as a wildlife management zone boundary means the centreline of the westbound or southbound lane is deemed to be the boundary. (5) In these regulations, references to Sections and Legal Subdivisions by number are inclusive. 11 Apr 2014 SR 15/2014 s3. Wildlife management zones 3(1) Subject to subsection (2), the wildlife management zones described in Part I of the Appendix are constituted as areas for managing, harvesting, controlling or regulating wildlife. (2) If all or part of any of the following areas is contained within the boundaries of a wildlife management zone, that area or part is not part of the wildlife management zone: (a) any game preserve, road corridor game preserve or wildlife refuge constituted by these regulations; (b) any provincial park, protected area, recreation site, historic site or park land reserve constituted pursuant to The Parks Act; (c) any regional park established pursuant to The Regional Parks Act, 1979; (d) Repealed. 2 Jan 2009 SR 130/2008 s3. Wildlife refuges 7 The wildlife refuges described in Part V of the Appendix are constituted as areas for protecting, propagating, perpetuating, managing, controlling, regulating or enhancing wildlife or its habitat. 14 Sep 90 cW-13.1 Reg 45 s7. 7.1 Repealed. 11 Apr 2014 SR 15/2014 s4. c.W-13.1 Reg 25 repealed 8 The Wildlife Management Zones and Special Areas Boundaries Regulations are repealed. 14 Sep 90 cW-13.1 Reg 45 s8. 5 WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONES AND SPECIAL AREAS BOUNDARIES, 1990 W-13.1 REG 45 Appendix Part I WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONES WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONE NO. 1 Wildlife Management Zone No. 1 is bounded by: (a) Provincial Highway No. 6 between Provincial Highway No. 13 and the south boundary of Saskatchewan; (b) the south boundary of Saskatchewan between Provincial Highway No. 6 and Provincial Highway No. 2; (c) Provincial Highway No. 2, Provincial Highway No. 18 and Provincial Highway No. 358 between the south boundary of Saskatchewan and Provincial Highway No. 13; and (d) Provincial Highway No. 13 between Provincial Highway No. 358 and Provincial Highway No. 6. WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONE NO. 2 EAST Wildlife Management Zone No. 2 East is bounded by: (a) Municipal Road No. 628 between Provincial Highway No. 13 and Provincial Highway No. 18; (b) Provincial Highway No. 18 between Municipal Road No. 628 and Provincial Highway No. 2; (c) Provincial Highway No. 2 between Provincial Highway No. 18 and the south boundary of Saskatchewan; (d) the south boundary of Saskatchewan between Provincial Highway No. 2 and Provincial Highway No. 4; (e) Provincial Highway No. 4 between the south boundary of Saskatchewan and Provincial Highway No. 13; and (f) Provincial Highway No. 13 between Provincial Highway No. 4 and Municipal Road No. 628. 6 WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONES AND W-13.1 REG 45 SPECIAL AREAS BOUNDARIES, 1990 WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONE NO. 2 WEST Wildlife Management Zone No. 2 West is bounded by: (a) Provincial Highway No. 4 between Provincial Highway No. 13 and the south boundary of Saskatchewan; (b) the south boundary of Saskatchewan between Provincial Highway No. 4 and Provincial Highway No. 37; (c) Provincial Highway No. 37 between the south boundary of Saskatchewan and Provincial Highway No. 18; (d) Provincial Highway No. 18 between Provincial Highway No. 37 and Municipal Road No. 614; (e) Municipal Road No. 614 between Provincial Highway No. 18 and Provincial Highway No. 13; and (f) Provincial Highway No. 13 between Municipal Road No. 614 and Provincial Highway No. 4. WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONE NO. 3 Wildlife Management Zone No. 3 is bounded by: (a) Municipal Road No. 614 between Provincial Highway No. 13 and Provincial Highway No. 18; (b) Provincial Highway No. 18 and Provincial Highway No. 37 between Municipal Road No. 614 and the south boundary of Saskatchewan; (c) the south boundary of Saskatchewan between Provincial Highway No. 37 and the west boundary of Saskatchewan; (d) the west boundary of Saskatchewan between the south boundary of Saskatchewan and Provincial Highway No. 13; and (e) Provincial Highway No. 13 between the west boundary of Saskatchewan and Municipal Road No. 614 at the Town of Eastend. WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONE NO. 4 Wildlife Management Zone No. 4 is bounded by: (a) Municipal Road No. 627 between Provincial Highway No. 363 and Provincial Highway No. 43; (b) Provincial Highway No. 43 between Municipal Road No. 627 and Provincial Highway No. 2; (c) Provincial Highway No. 2 between Provincial Highway No. 43 and Provincial Highway No. 36; (d) Provincial Highway No. 36 between Provincial Highway No. 2 and Provincial Highway No. 13; (e) Provincial Highway No. 13 between Provincial Highway No. 36 and Provincial Highway No. 358; 7 WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONES AND SPECIAL AREAS BOUNDARIES, 1990 W-13.1 REG 45 (f) Provincial Highway No. 358 between Provincial Highway No. 13 and Provincial Highway No. 18; (g) Provincial Highway No. 18 between Provincial Highway No. 358 and Municipal Road No. 628; (h) Municipal Road No. 628 between Provincial Highway No. 18 and Provincial Highway No. 43; (i) Provincial Highway No. 43 between Municipal Road No. 628 and Provincial Highway No. 19; (j) Provincial Highway No. 19 between Provincial Highway No. 43 and Provincial Highway No. 363; and (k) Provincial Highway No. 363 between Provincial Highway No. 19 and Municipal Road No. 627. WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ZONE NO. 5 Wildlife Management Zone No. 5 is bounded by: (a) Provincial Highway No. 19 between Provincial Highway No. 1 and the first intersection with Provincial Highway No. 43; (b) Provincial Highway No. 43 between Provincial Highway No. 19 and Municipal Road No. 628; (c) Municipal Road No. 628 between Provincial Highway No. 43 and Provincial Highway No. 13; (d) Provincial Highway No. 13 between Municipal Road No. 628 and Provincial Highway No. 37; (e) Provincial Highway No. 37 between Provincial Highway No. 13 and Provincial Highway No. 1; and (f) Provincial Highway No. 1 between Provincial Highway No. 37 and Provincial Highway No. 19.
