July 2018 - page 5 of 8 Technical Video Signal From 2018 a new workflow has been created to follow the constant improvement of competition technologies and On Venue Results services ICF is providing to judges, teams and LOC: Judges & TVS production / FEED A (odd) + FEED B (even) START SIGNALS THURSDAY @ 16h00 (Tech. Rehearsal full length), till the end of the SLALOM events on Sunday @ 15h00. 6 Cameras LIVE (4 operated & 2 fixed) + TV graphics ICF TV is only providing the 6 Cameras and the 4 operators. All Camera signals are routed to the OB VAN for Image Control, then Siwi Data is wiring all signals back to the OVR position to have the 2 switchers “cutting” the Feed A & B for judges and TVS These 2 feeds are entirely directed, “switched” by Siwi Data with their equipment installed inside the OVR area and will be provided in the video tent. Remark: TVS is a service produced by a company hired through ICF. The host will undertake the strongest effort to provide the best quality but cannot guarantee a 100% coverage. WIFI Other than in previous years there will be NO PUBLIC WiFi on venue. The HOC recommends that participants should use the public mobile network which is covering the area with a LTE bandwidth. For overseas travelers the HOC recommends to purchase Pre- Paid SIM Cards from EU provider. Since last year there are no more roaming cost within EU. The reason for this decision is to guarantee a stable internet connection for the core of the race organization as well as internet livestream and press and media activities. Thank you for your understanding. ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup 2018 - Race #3 - Augsburg - Eiskanal - 06. - 08.
