Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Saber Order – Fall 2019 • Cadets can purchase sabers by visiting Marlow White to place orders online. Orders must be received by December 20, 2019 • Saber manufacturing may take up to 90 days. Not placing the order by December 20th risks the possibility of not having a saber for the March 27th Ring Dance • The factory will send the finished sabers to Marlow White. We will inspect each saber, add the appropriate accessories, and ship the items to the cadet addresses entered during the ordering process • Points of Contact: Hannah ([email protected] and Alan ([email protected]) are the Marlow White points of contact for all saber questions and orders. Order Process • All sabers and swords are hand-crafted by WKC in Solingen, Germany. WKC is the oldest and most experienced ceremonial sword manufacturer in the world • Available US ceremonial saber styles: Army, Army Premium, Navy, Navy Premium, and Air Force. All styles include the custom Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets blade etch • The VTCC custom blade design was developed specifically for the Corps of Cadets and includes images of iconic buildings and symbolic statues found throughout the Virginia Tech campus. The etch also includes the following personalized information: – Cadet name – Graduation year – Company
