2018 Midwest Communications Winterfest Medallion Hunt 2018 MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS WINTERFEST MEDALLION HUNT Midwest Communications 11 East Superior St Suite 380 Duluth, MN 55802 Contest Details and Rules: Winterfest Medallion Hunt clues will be posted on 95KQDS.COM KATCOUNTRY989.COM. MY957.COM. KDAL610.COM. and WDSM710.COM. And the official Winterfest Web Site. Clues broadcasted on KQDS-FM, KTCO-FM, KDAL-FM, KDAL-AM, KDKE-FM, AND WDSM-AM beginning January 15th. A new clue will be posted and aired each weekday between 7:00am and 8:00 am January 29th through February 26th, 2018, unless the medallion is found prior to that date. Read or listen to the daily clues to search for the Winterfest Medallion hidden outdoors on public land in Duluth, Minnesota; Hermantown, Minnesota; Proctor, Minnesota; or Superior, Wisconsin. The medallion will not be hidden within the grounds of the Lake Superior Zoo, on or in any government buildings or office grounds, under any skating surface, on a golf course, under any artificial or natural turf, or at any construction site. Medallion may be covered by snow or under loose natural materials (i.e. leaves sticks, etc.) Medallion will not be hidden within 20 feet of any body of water (i.e. lake, pond stream, river, etc.) If the Winterfest Medallion is found, it should be promptly returned to Midwest Communications 11 East Superior St Suite 380 to qualify for the $5000 prize. If the Winterfest Medallion is not found by noon Monday, February 26, 2018, additional – more specific clues - will be posted and aired for one week until medallion is found. If the medallion is not found or turned in by Friday, March 5, 2018 at 7:00pm, Midwest Communications reserves the right to discontinue the contest if deemed necessary. Midwest Communications reserves the right to discontinue the Hunt at any time if public property is destroyed or other damaging circumstances occur. General Conditions: Individuals under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the Hunt. The winner will be required to execute and return a Certificate of Eligibility and General Release form within 24 hours of notifying Midwest Communications that the medallion has been found. If the winner is under the age of 18, the Certificate must be signed by his or her parent or legal guardian. Non-compliance may result in disqualification. Any income tax liability is the sole responsibility of the winner. All participants agree that Midwest Communications, Fond Du Luth Casino and their respective affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, advertising representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by participants for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prizes or participation in this contest. Except where legally prohibited, by accepting prize, winner grants permission for Midwest Communications, its partners, and those acting under its authority to use his or her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness for advertising and/or publicity without compensation. No purchase is necessary to win. All contest rules and decisions are final.
