Meet a keeper and learn about an animal 9:30am ................................ **Enjoy a narrated train ride on our Safari Express Miniature Train **Our train tour accommodates two wheelchair passengers at a time. Please let us know if you will require wheelchair accommodations for the train tour. After the Safari Express tour, you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the day at the Zoo! Please Note Please complete the registration form and fax/email/mail back to us. Upon receipt of the registration, a confirmation and a request for a 25% deposit or valid credit card information will be sent out within 7 days. A minimum 48hrs cancellation notice is required, otherwise a 25% cancellation penalty is retained. Although there are porta potties, water, light, and electricity in the camping area, there is no access to flush toilet facilities between 8:30pm-8:30am. Items to bring: Tents Sleeping Bags Camping Equipment Drinking Water Dinner/snacks Extra Clothing Toiletries Flashlights Marshmallow Roasting Sticks Camera (optional) Insect Repellent Musical instrument (optional) Travel mug Camping dishes Camping utensils A Zoo staff member trained in emergency procedures and with a valid first aid certificate will be on site the entire evening. One member of each family will be required to attend a safety meeting at 7:00pm in the picnic area. If you have any medical condi tions or allergies, please let us know. Packing it In/Out Transportation and assistance unloading/loading supplies available on a first come first served basis. The Greater Vancouver Zoo is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Labelling your equipment is strongly recommended. All camping equipment must be packed up by 9:00am and transported to the vehicles before 10:00am the following day. Parking & Transportation Buses: Free (park in lower-south lot) Vehicle(s): $6.00 each The Zoo is wheelchair and stroller accessible with 3 km of paved pathways. NOTE: No pets or outside animals and motorized vehicles allowed on Zoo premises unless authorized in writing by Zoo management. Payment Payment is due upon arrival. To provide a deposit with your registration please fill out the information below or submit by phone. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Receipts will be issued at your time of arrival. If paying by cheque please make it out to Greater Vancouver Zoo and mail to the address above with registration form, to the attention of the Education Department. Additional Adventures Eco-excursion in the Valley: With a minimum group size of 15 people plan a fun-filled day visiting the Eco- Dairy, Freshwater Fisheries, the Old Spaghetti Factory, and the Greater Vancouver Zoo.
