The report has been prepared to meet the requirements of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997 as called for under Section 48 of the Australian Sports Commission Act 1989. The Australian Sports Commission is established in accordance with the Australian Sports Commission Act 1989. The objects, functions and powers of the Australian Sports Commission are prescribed in Sections 6, 7 and 8, respectively, of the Act. The Commissioners of the Board are responsible, under Section 9 of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997, for the preparation and content of the Report of Operations in accordance with the Finance Minister’s Orders 2008. -

Statistics Diving Australia Report 2001-2002 EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT With the horrific events that have occurred over the past year and with the daily threat of further atrocities, it is sometimes difficult to remember the positive effect that sport can have on our children and our national psyche.
