WP8 ICT FOR EC-HVEN

- 43 - EC-HVEN Partner Introduction EC-HVEN Contributions to Three Objectives SO1: Increasing awareness of the importance and potential value of engineering and networking within the community of high value engineering research.

Secondary innovation not only bring advanced technology, but also the transition from low value position to high value engineering network. It is also can be used under the context of Europe reshaping sustainable engineering sectors. Through this process, the awareness of importance and potential value of engineering will be aroused.

SO2: Providing a supportive environment for building collaborative research projects focusing on high value engineering capabilities and novel concepts of operations.

NIIM has established various collaborative projects with leading companies(such as Haier, CIMC, Geely) and research organizations on this theme, we would like to share the experience with our partners to deepen this field.

SO3: Establishing a framework for global network collaborations in high value engineering areas.

Chinese firms’ ODI will have significant impact on global value network, it provide a new context which is different from developed countries’ FDI. It can enrich global network collaborations in high value engineering areas research and practice.
