She was a founding member of the Workhaus Collective and is a member of WGA West. GIVING AS A LIFESTYLE Rich Girl also centers on Claudine’s mother Eve, and her private foundation. While Eve is certainly wary about whom she allows to have a piece of her fortune, here are several wealthy individuals who have dedicated their lives to giving away their earnings.

J. K. ROWLING – While she was living on welfare before the success of the Harry Potter books, she became a multi-millionaire in only five years due to the massive acclaim and love for her wizarding works. She has donated to causes such as multiple sclerosis, children’s health, and welfare, as well as support for the poor. She has also been active in British politics, donating and campaigning during multiple elections in recent years.

BILL GATES – After co-founding and helping to develop the Windows computer operating system, he is now the richest man on earth. Together with his wife Melinda Gates, he founded the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which is the wealthiest charitable organization in the world. The foundation works to combat global poverty, offer better healthcare across the world, and to encourage and create new educational opportunities in the United States, specifically in informational technologies. Gates has agreed to donate half his over the course of his lifetime to charity, though from statements they have made about what they intend to leave behind to their children as , they are on a course to give away over 90% of their total wealth.

PRINCE AL-WALEED BIN TALAL – While he started out with a hefty leg up in the world due to being a member of the Saudi royal family, he has since been steadfast in giving a significant portion of his fortune away to philanthropic causes. One of his main focusses is to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western cultures, specifically to try to help Christians and Muslims better understand one another. He stated in 2015 that he intended to donate over thirty billion dollars to philanthropic causes, ranging from women’s empowerment in the Saudi world, as well as disaster relief and the eradication of disease.
